Teja's films are always looked forward in Telugu cinema for their freshness, brought about by interesting storylines and new actors. And big hits like Chitram, Jeyam and Nuvvu Nennu bear testimony to this. While his last few films didn't fare too well, Teja is not deterred for the director is back with a love story titled Keka. Teja has introduced quite a number of new faces (names not yet disclosed) in Keka. Chakri scores music for the film. There is a talk that the music may be released after the film! Surely the maverick Teja would want to stand out with something unconventional!
Teja, who has also scripted Keka will have National award-winning cinematographer P C Sreeram working behind the camera. "It's a love story. The characters are well etched," says Sreeram, Cinematographer, who is doing this film after the Amitabh Bachchan-Tabu starrer Cheeni Kum. "I like the idea when Teja narrated the script to me, and when the director and I vibe well, the film usually turns out well. The extra spark is there in the director. So far the going has been good. I'm doing a film with newcomers after two-three years and it's interesting to work with them. There is tremendous sincerity and team spirit in the unit," says Sreeram.

who are the distributors that declined to finance this film if Ilayaraja is music director?. And are pitching for chakri. Telugu film industry still ruled by archaic feudal forces
