Mumbai, July 25: My heart is bleeding for Harman Baweja. There seems to be no end to that poor guy’s troubles. After the news/rumour about his plastic surgery broke out, comes this shocking piece of goss. Harman, it seems, has been dumped by his girlfriend Priyanka Chopra.
B’town is buzzing with the news that Priyanka ditched him a few days ago, officially. One of my sources, close to the couple has this to say. "This was perhaps inevitable. After Lovestory’s dismal showing at the box office, the relationship, which was already on shaky grounds, received what we’d say the last nail on the coffin." Priyanka, who has been shooting for Bhandarkar’s Fashion, has reportedly been hanging up on Harman everytime he’s called up to talk about it.
"This happened sometime around Wednesday, when Harman, who was shooting in Rajasthan, called up Priyanka to try and talk things over," says another source. Priyanka apparently, did talk a lot, but hung up saying, "It’s all over."
The alleged split was not only triggered off by the whole Lovestory fiasco, but also because of irreconciliable differences between Priyanka and the Baweja family, say some. It is also a strange co-incidence that the news of Harman’s face-job made its way to the media around the same time.
Eye-witnesses however say, Priyanka has been looking "rather relieved" while some evil tongues are wagging about a certain cricketer stepping in to keep her amused in the interim. Yes, you guessed it right, Yuvraj Singh, who has made a habit of dating pretty young things from tinsel town, was apparently Priyanka’s man of the moment. Even if for a brief while. Now before you ask just where and how did the two meet, let me remind you about a certain bash hosted by Shah Rukh Khan…. now get the picture?
Meanwhile darlings, drop in a line to tell me what do yo think could have happened between the two? And what will now happen to all those blue teddy bears the two had been giving away? But then, if you are as old-fashioned as I am, you’d probably hope and pray these rumours are not true. Sigh!
