Tollywood, it seems has been hijacked by the ‘stereotypical action hero’ of late, and the six-pack has become an oft-flaunted possession of the new crop of angry young men.
Allari Naresh, though comes across as an exception. Infact nobody gave him a chance when he started off but he has managed to carve a niche for himself with his unique brand of comedy, filling in the void left behind like actors like Chandra Mohan, Rajendra Prasad and Naresh.
No wonder then he always seems to have a handful of projects on hand. He has four films lined up currently. Blade Babji is slated to hit the screens next month followed by Sidhu From Sikakulam, also releasing next month.
Besides these he is playing the lead in another rib-tickler, Dongalabandi that boasts of an all comedian cast. And last but not the least, he is also acting in a film being directed by his father EVV Satyanarayana, titled Fitting Master. Now, that is what you call a packed schedule!
