Kamma's Shock To Allu Aravind

There have been assumptions that the film industry would split into two after the announcement of Chiranjeevi's political party. The fresh Film Chamber election results have declared that it will be true. The Film Chamber members elected KS Rama Rao as their President yesterday. Allu Aravind is supposed to give tough fight for him but the end result proved something different. KS Rama Rao bagged 184 votes while Aravind bagged only 48. This lack of majority for Aravind spoke volumes about the caste politics those are prevalent among film bigwigs now. There is no stereotype fight between small producers and big producers this time in Film Chamber elections. It is the direct fight between Kamma supremacy and Aravind, said inside sources. Already there is Nagababu as MAA President. Had Allu Aravind elected for Film Chamber, it implies that entire film industry is in the grip of Chiru family, officially. To avoid such feel, majority of Kamma bigwigs have got united to elect their own candidate. Thus Rama Rao won the game. There have been healthy relations between KS Rama Rao and Chiranjeevi all these years. Now the split started with Allu Aravind's contest in elections. Adding to this, the impressions are making rounds that there would be non-cooperation for the films relating to Chiru family members in near future of Chiru-Aravind and Co gain political mileage. People are saying other reason for this worst defeat of Aravind. "Film industry is not caste biased. It has given place for Nagababu as MAA President. It kept Chiranjeevi on the top. Even some places in Film Nagar Club are named against Chiranjeevi. We know the glory of Chiru and down-to-earth nature of Nagababu. At the same time industry also knows the narrow mindedness of Aravind. Hence he tasted the defeat", said an inside source. With this set of impression, can Aravind ride the political chariot of Chiranjeevi? That should be done by Nabababu, might be. | |
