Rajinikanth worried about the hype

Director P. Vasu is the happiest person these days. “Today I get calls from Germany, America, etc telling me about how good the songs in Kuselan are. Do you know why the national television channels ask for my interviews? Not because I am P Vasu but because they want me to talk about the superstar,” said the director, who’s Kuselan with Rajinikanth is ready to hit screens on 1^st August. When asked about the film he said, “I felt it was like Rajinikanth’s true story; how he treats his friends and how he talks about his friends.. That is why even Mammootty said in an interview that the film was a perfect subject for Rajnikanth.”

“I can tell you one thing; this is a story that is quite different from the usual Rajnikanth film,” said P. Vasu. What was Rajinikanth’s reaction after seeing the first copy? “He said, he would not discuss about the outcome. See what confidence he has! He was only bothered about the hype. He said that it is a very tender story, a story full of feelings. I reminded him that there is comedy too and that we have to balance the two. The ending is definitely going to hit everyone,” said P. Vasu adding, “When you come out of the theatre, you will not think you saw a superstar's film. You will remember him as an old friend of yours, and you will have tears in your eyes. “
