Sudipto’s Pankh deals with identity crisis

Sudipto Chattopadhyay is directing Pankh starring Bipasha Basu which is produced by White Feather Films. This film with its bold theme of gender identity had already created ripples in the film industry circle.

Pankh deals with an unusual subject that of a young boy who is promoted as a girl child in films. Later on the youngster, who remains illiterate and uneducated, turns into a drug addict. He starts fantasising about Bipasha Basu, who is his alter ego and keeps taunting him over his habits.
