Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma’s latest film Rann brings out the backroom bickerings of the media empire. It looks into the aspects of how the media meets its deadlines, suppressing news sometimes or even spreading disinformation. The star cast of Rann includes Amitabh Bachchan, Paresh Rawal, Riteish Deshmukh, Mohnish Behl, Manisha Koirala, Rajat Kapoor, Sudeep, Gul Panag, Raima Sen and Rajpal Yadav.
The buzz now is that RGV is expanding the characters in Rann and he is likely to cast Abhishek Bachchan, Himesh Reshammiya and Mallika Sherawat.
