Yesteryears item girl and vamp Jyothylakshmi is acting a supporting role in the remake of mythological film Jaganmohini. Vittalacharya made the original Jaganmohini (1978) with Jayamalini and Narasimha Raju. The remake stars Raja, Namitha, Meera Chopra, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Riyaz Khan and Narasimha Raju. This is being produced by H Murali under the banner of Murali Cine Arts and directed by NK Viswanathan.
Jyothylakshmi plays the role of the mother of Namitha who is a princess in the film.
