Tabu’s unprofessional attitude hurts producer

The buzz is that Tabu has backed out of a music video Main Nahin Jaana just a day before it was to be shot and the makers went helter-skelter scouting for a suitable replacement. The shoot was supposed to be held in a suburban hotel on Thursday and Friday. On Wednesday evening, Tabu called up to say that she will not be able to report for the shoot. Producer of the video Manu Kohli and the director Shiraz Bhattacharya explained their predicament to Tabu but the actress stood her ground. Tabu told Kohli and Shiraz to postpone the shoot to August if they wanted to have her in the video.

The producer had also erected a set worth Rs 4 lakh at the hotel. “This was very unprofessional on Tabu’s part. If she didn't want to do the video, she should have informed well in advance. They could not argue with her much because she is a big actress and she was firm that she wasn't reporting for the shoot. Shiraz and Manu were in a fix because they had a deadline to comply. Bhavna is Shiraz’s friend and thankfully, she bailed them out.” says a source.
