However, Tabu did not think twice before accepting the role. Her only demand was about remuneration. She demanded 75 lakhs for the role. Sarath Kumar is playing the lead role in the film. Tabu's demand of 75 lakhs as remuneration came as a big shock to the producers. As the news has spread as a sensationa in down south, Tabu reacted to that in lighter way. "I'm no less to Rekha or Hema Malini who have been sporting great physique by transcending the limitations of age and been bagging good pay pack".
