A self-styled activist protecting the interests of megastar Chiranjeevi has protested the remarks made by Marketing minister Mareppa. It is said that the state minister attacked Chiranjeevi by accusing the actor of selling blood through his blood bank.
The activist Gattu Ramachandra Rao, Chiru Party Core Committee member, condemned the minister’s remark and urged him to change his stance on the megastar. Speaking to the media, Gattu Ramachandra Rao said, “He has to change his opinion on Chiranjeevi, if he has made a personal attack on the actor. He has to bear the consequences if the remarks came on behalf of his party.” He said that the public was aware of the nature of the minister and the megastar.
At Eluru, in West Godavari district, Chiranjeevi fans staged a rasta rook and also burnt the effigy of Mareppa.
