The Central Power Distribution Company Limited (CPDCL) sent a notice to actress and president of Talli Telangana Party (TTP), Vijayashanti, in a cheque bounce case on Tuesday.
Sources say that Vijayashanti issued a cheque to the electricity board in regard to the electricity bill which she owed for her rented plot in Banjara Hills. Since the cheque she issued bounced, CPDCL filed a case against her and thus she was served a notice. According to the notice sent, if she does not pay the amount within a month, she may have to face the criminal prosecution.
