Dasavataram Running Housefuls

It was meant to be the movie of not just the season but for a long time to come, thanks to the immense creativity of the concept and of course the presence of the legendary Kamal Hassan in it. Yes, we are talking about the recently released 'Dasavatharam' which is meant to be one of the long standing dreams of Kamal and his ambitious thoughts. Though the film has been receiving some mixed response throughout its worldwide release, it has still been able to attract crowds to a full house in the theatres and the trend seems to be on for quite some time. This seems to be the case even in places like Bengal where the film has been dubbed into Hindi and south Indian flicks are not a big welcome. Experts say it is the presence of Kamal in the ten different get ups that has really worked for him and though the roles were limited, it was the names of Mallika Sherawat and Asin that drew the crowds. It is also a known fact that it will take a real long time for someone to come up with a movie like this where the protagonist appears in ten different roles connected to each other and all this in just one film.
