His life starts to look up with the arrival of Shanaya (Shenaz Treasuryvala). AS romance starts between them, Pooja comes again wanting a reconciliation.Whom will Vivan choose, Pooja or Shanya?
The Performances
Himesh Reshammiya has a new look and his acting is better than his previous two films. The roles of Shenaz Treasuryvala and Sonal Sehgal have not been properly delineated. Paresh Rawal is as usual essays his role with ease. Zakir Hussain and Rajesh Khattarare adequate in their roles.
The Techniques
The love triangle story is not a new theme to Hindi cinema, but Radio has been handled without emotional sensitivity by director Isshaan Trivedi. The characters are not properly etched and the story line has loopholes. Why does Pooja suddenly wants to come back? No idea! The screenplay does not create interest in the narration. Cinematography by Attar Singh Saini is
good. Himesh Reshammiya’s music is OK.
Analysis
The film has a storyline that has been visited several times before so there was not much for the audience to predict right from the start. While the first half goes about with the regular tale of romance and emotion, the second half goes about with the sentimental mix up and by this time, the audience doesn't have much to do except wait for it to get over.
The number of unwanted songs is a major drawback which has spoiled the momentum of the film. Overall, there are some good moments but then that is not sufficient to get the crowds to the theatres.
