India’s well-acclaimed Aamir Khan’s film ‘Taare Zameen Par’ will be now available in the foreign shores, thanks to Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment.Titled as ‘Like Stars On Earth’, the film will be available in 3-Disc DVD/CD set with a new English language track and will
be released on 12th January 2010 in the US.
According to reports, ‘Like Stars On Earth’ is tagged as "A little twinkling star of a movie" by the BBC Movie Reviews and it is said to be a sparkling example of why Indian cinema has rapidly become the most popular film import to the US.Buena Vista Home Entertainment, a division of the Walt Disney Studios, will be handling the marketing and distributions.‘Like Stars on Earth’ includes seven infectious Bollywood dance numbers, vividly imagined animated interludes and a brand new
English-language track for a cross-cultural celebration of creativity and individuality, the sources quotes.The film, directed-produced by Aamir, had been selected to be India’s official submission to the 2009 Academy Awards. The film also stars Aamir and child actor Darsheel Safary, who was lauded for his performance as a dyslexic child.
