Buzz: 'Red Light Area' Case On Asin

Asin is a big name not only in Kollywood but also in Bollywood. Her biggest film in her career so far, the Kamal Haasan starrer magnum opus 'Dasavatharam' is now all set for release on June 6. Asin is playing a dual role in the film. This should have the greatest time in her life but unfortunately, Asin is actually embroiled in a big and unsavory controversy. Asin has been accused of all things, selling off a girl to a brothel house in Mumbai Red Light Area! The facts of the case are as follows. Asin has employed a girl as her domestic servant at her house in Chennai. The girl's parents say that their child used to come home at least once in a month. But for the past six months, they have not seen or heard from her. They now allege that Asin has taken away their daughter to Mumbai and entered her into the flesh trade. In the police complaint, it is alleged that it is Asin who is the main culprit. Asin however has denied this and said that the girl is in Mumbai with her. She took her to Mumbai as she is now staying there for long periods in connection with her Hindi film. Asin further stated that the girl stopped meeting her parents or talking to them as they were harassing all the time for money. The incident has created a big sensation in Kollywood, coming as it did ahead of the release of Dasavatharam. But still investigations and interrogations are going on with Asin.
