Quantum of Solace, the latest James Bond film starring Daniel Craig and Olga Kurilenko, released in England and received a record collection of Rs 40 Crore on the first day itself on the UK circuit. The previous record is held by Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire, which collected Rs 32 Crore on the first day of release. The previous Bond film Casino Royale collected Rs 23 Crore.
Quantum of Solace directed by Mark Foster has high box-office expectations right from the time the promos of the film started being aired. But no one expected such record breaking opening.
This James Bond film is releasing in India on November 7 in English, Hindi and Telugu.
