J D Chakravarthy made the successful film Homam and he has announced a sequel to it. Initially, the sequel was titled Marana Homam, but now the title Moksham has been finalized. Moksham stars Jagapathi Babu and Sindhu Menon of Chandamama fame and will be produced by Kiran Kumar Koneru.
Homam was inspired by the Hollywood film The Departed. However, Moksham has an original story being penned by Kona Venkat. The pre-production works of this film are almost complete and the shooting will start soon.
