Anushka bags Nayan’s role

The Ajith starrer Billa, directed by Vishnuvardhan, was a super hit in Tamil. Ajith had Nayanthara and Namitha as the two heroines for company. Nayan stunned everyone by appearing in a bikini in Billa. The news is that Billa is being remade into Telugu with Prabhas in the lead. The film is directed by Kantri fame Meher Ramesh and produced by Krishnam Raju. According to insiders, the producer’s first choice was Nayan, since she has a good market in Tollywood as well. But the actress who has decided not to appear in a bikini any more refused to accept the offer despite the big amount offered to her. Now, it has fallen into the lap of long legged beauty, and yoga instructor turned actress Anushka who established herself as a sex symbol in the recently released film Baladoor. Mani Sharma composes music for the yet to be titled movie. Anushka did Rendu with Madhavan in Tamil under Sundar C’s direction, and is busy with Chintakayala Ravi with Venkatesh, and Souryam with Gopichand.
