Gopi Chand’s Souryam in post production

Director J. Shiva is supervising the DTS mixing of Souryam. Alongside is the film scribe-turned-executive producer Anne Ravi. Moving images of the film’s lead pair, Gopichand and Anushka flow on the large screen as the technician quality checks the recording done earlier. “Now we are busy taking care of the post production work with editing, dubbing, rerecording and DTS mixing done simultaneously,” informs the executive producer. “The checking of the DTS mixing is a laborious process as one has to concentrate on the minute details and that makes it interesting too. As the scenes unfurl on the screen, it is evident that the actor can expect to receive accolades one more time,” says the director.

Gopichand, according to producer Anand Prasad, is cast as a determined youngster out to reach to his goal. “He represents today’s youth who display a rare courage to achieve their aim. In one such mission, the hero travels from Hyderabad to Kolkata and the subsequent scenes thrill the audience,” says producer. Playing such characters is like a cakewalk for Gopi as he has already proved with such hits as Yagnam, Ranam and Lakshyam. The producer is happy that the audio is doing well in the market. The movie is slated to release on September 24. Poonam Kaur is cast in a pivotal role.
