Ileana is acting pricey as far as Tamil cinema is concerned.She has done just one film in Tamil, KD which bombed. However she has a big hit in Telugu like Pokiri with Mahesh Babu. She is said to be a lucky star, and our Ilayathalapathy Vijay has been trying to sign her up to do one of his films.
The latest we hear is that she is likely to be Vijay’s heroine in AVM Balasubramaniam’s new film Vettaikaran, to be directed by debutant Babu, a former assistant of Dharani.
Ileana’s only demand it seems, is that she should be paid her market rate in Telugu, which is said to be around Rs 1.25 crore! The actress also had no qualms about dropping out of Soundarya Rajinikanth’s animated film Sultan- The Warrior with the superstar, when they refused to pay her market rate!
