Sushant grandson of ANR, who debuted with 'Kalidasu' is well recognized as a hero in Tollywood. He plays the lead, paired with Sneha Ullal as the heroine in their latest 'Current'. Introducing SuryaPrathap as director, producers Chintalapudi Srinivasa Rao and A.Nagasuseela are making the film on NagCreations banner. The shooting of the film began grandly on 19th at Annapurna Studios, in the presence of Akkineni fans.
The first shot (muhuratham) of the film was taken on Sushant and Sneha Ullal, while Akkineni Nagarjuna clapped the board and Akkineni Nageswara Rao switched on the camera. Akkineni Venkat did the honorary direction. Akkineni Annapurna has performed the pooja. The movie broacher was also released on this occasion.
Speaking on this occasion Akkineni Nagarjuna expressed his thanks for encouraging the members of Akkineni Family. "I wish the fans would support Sushanth in the same way, to make him a successful artist. We will all meet again on 23rd November."
Akkineni Nageswara Rao said, "Starting from me to the upcoming heroes, I am unable to express in words the zeal you have shown. I am feeling proud to see you all, working with dignity and as role models. I hope you will all support Sushant in this film also."
Tanikella Bharani, Brahmanandam, Suneel, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, Raghubabu, Kondavalasa, Shafi, Sudha, Telangana Shakunthala and others are featured in this film.
Musical score is being orchestrated by songster Devi Sri Prasad. Photography is by Vijay C Kumar, story, screenplay and direction is by SuryaPrathap.
