Industry to lift ban on Asin

Albeit late south Indian actress Asin sent a letter to the Nadigar Sangam explaining why she could participate in the agitation. The Sangam had sent out letters demanding explanations from those who had not participated. Most had sent in their responses but Asin, who had been shooting in Mumbai for the Hindi ’Ghajini,’ sent in her explanation yesterday.

She mentioned that she had to participate for a function in Mumbai where she was a brand ambassador and hence could not participate in the hunger strike. The actress added that in future she would definitely participate in all programs organised by the Tamil film field and Nadigar Sangam. With this the ban seems to be totally lifted.
