Ramesh Tummala, who underwent training in film making at Australia, had earlier brought out a film 'Neeli Meghalu', Now he is bringing out 'Turpu Padamara', with a love story of an NRI as the subject.
Arun and Ramita Setty are playing the lead while the film is jointly presented by Devenki Films and Novel Entertainments. The film is being made simultaneously in English and Telugu languages.
Director cum producer Ramesh says, 'An NRI youth reaches India to marry an Indian girl. He falls in love with a girl but differences crop up due to some attitudinal changes between the boy and the girl. Whether he was able to win back her heart or not is the climax. The film would definitely touch the hearts of the current generation youth. Gorantla Krishna's music would be an added attraction. But for the canning of two songs the entire shooting part was wrapped up. Post-production works are in progress simultaneously. We are planning to complete the canning of the balance songs in the first week of June. We are making efforts to screen the premier of our movie during the 'AATA' conference to be held in the US in July.'
Prasad Konda, Padmini, Sahadev, Meena Singh, Ganga Narasimha Reddy, Suresh, Bharat Raj, Baby Pravallika and others are in the cast.
Camera is by Rajesh Katuri, editing is by Satyam, while story, direction, and production are by Ramesh Tummala.
