Mumaith Khan is an item song artist turned solo heroine. But she is yet to establish herself as a solo heroine in the conventional sense. She is now coming up as Punnaminagu in a new film with the same title. The film has Rajiv Kanakala in hero’s role.

Veteran Kodandarami Reddy is the director. He has churned out several big hits in Tollywood before. Can he repeat it once again with Punnaminagu? The film has been made on a lavish budget and also boasts of rich graphics. Will all these give Mumaith the much needed image to establish herself as a heroine?
