The hot Malayalam beauty Asin is currently the hot cake in Bollywood and as her fame is increasing, also her share of controversies and gossips too. Here are a few thoughts from this pretty girl about various aspects that have been happening lately.
Working when father was hospitalized:
Asin said that it was not very difficult and clarified that her dad was not a baby-sitter on the sets. She maintained that it was a client-manager relationship they shared on the sets and since she doesn’t have a manager or a secretary, her father plays all the roles. She also recalls that recently, when she went to Bangalore to launch the Bangalore Food Guide she called him up at one in the morning to just wish him good night and even at that time, his phone was engaged! Asin admits that her work-related issues had been keeping her father busy so late in the night. But now, she has somebody to accompany her. The only difference however Asin says is since this person is doing a professional job, the personal touch of having her father around is missing.
Parents at shooting:
Asin says her mother is a doctor who has opted for VRS and her father isn’t there to look into the monitor when she is shooting. Apparently, he ensures that everything is organized and then leaves. Asin frets that it is quite annoying when people confuse her father with the demanding type of parents who are always there on the sets. She reiterates that her dad is an independent thinker and never indulges in such behavior.
Doing romantic scenes in front of father:
Asin says she is quite comfortable when her father is around. She adds that it is her profession and retorts that if she can agree to a scene that will be viewed by her parents in the audience, why won’t she be able to shoot it in front of them? Point taken Asin.
Salman’s house gift:
Asin quashes this as rumors and states how silly is that! She stressed that she has been living in the same house since the time she went to Mumbai to shoot for Ghajini. She added that she hadn’t even met Salman then. However, she puts it on the media flares up that they have created this story of Salman to gift her new house, someone to do the interiors and even adorned her walls with his paintings and posters!
Will link-up stories help for film publicity?
According to Asin, there are many untrue stories that many people would have become conscious of and realize that these are the media games. She however says that a percentage would want to believe it as a topic of discussion, even if they actually have doubts about it.
Publicist’s role:
Asin comes plain and says she is not familiar with such a strategy. She recalls that during Ghajini, she knew exactly how the movie would be promoted by first releasing Aamir’s look. But right now, she says that the London Dreams team has not discussed anything of that sort with her.
Difference between Salman and Aamir:
Asin says that Salman is very relaxed and chilled out, he is spontaneous and adds that though he does his homework for his role, on the sets, he does an impromptu job. When it comes to Aamir, he would come and discuss the role with Asin, discuss changes and ask for suggestions. Asin says that she prefers a mixture of both.
Individuality:
Asin said that though she has been approached in the south with such offers, she has always declined them. She advises that whether it is difficult or easy, one has to say ‘no’ when they don’t want to do something.
