Kamal hit gets 220 prints in Hindi release

The Tamil film Dasavatharam pro-duced by Aascar Ravichandran anddirected by K.S.Ravikumar, whereKamal Haasan played 10 roles was one of the big hits of 2008. The film had Asin, Mallika Sherawat and Jaya Prada in important roles opposite Kamal. Now the movie is being released in Hindi and it’s said to be a comeback of sorts for Kamal in Bollywood. The actor is known in the Hindi industry for memorable flicks like Ek Duuje Ke Liye, Sadma, Saagar and Chachi 420. Asin also made an impact with Ghajini. Ravi considers this an appropriate time to release the movie in Hindi. He says, “The film will be released in 220 theatres across North India by April 17. As Kamal is well-versed in various languages like Hindi, Marathi, Punjabi, Gujarathi and Bengali, he dubbed for this version, which was completed long ago. Of course, Mallika and Himesh Reshammiya are well-known in the north which should help the film.” Kamal expressed his happiness reaching out to Hindi audiences after a gap and said “I have a promising market there and I hope the film does well.”
