Also, her role in Mani Ratnam's Ravan is touted as her best so far. Though we have to wait to watch if Priyamani goes Bollywood with Ravan, the actress is slowly becoming a top flight heroine in Telugu.Though, unlike Trisha or Nayanatara, she has not acted with superstars here, her popularity is zooming ahead.

That’s why I wore bikini in that film. But, if I go on with it people will hate to see me and brand me as vamp, which I don’t want to happen. That’s why I have refused to appear in bikini in my further films, till date.”However, when the media person asked whether she have any objections to act in lip lock scenes, she promptly replied that,

“Why should I have any objections? If, the story demands all the artists are obliged to do it. I have no exception for this.”So, the audiances are assured that they can expect lip lock scenes from their favourite hot babe Priyamani very soon, but not her bikini shows.

Talented Priyamani misses award

The talented Priyamani missed an award by a whisker. Priyamani acted in the Malayalam film ‘Thiraikatha’ The film was made with the story about the life of late actress Sri Vidya Priyamani received rave reviews for her acting in the film. She was widely expected to bag the Best Actress award this time.


The Best actress award was however given to another heroine Priyanka The reason why Priyamani lost out on the award was that while Priyanka dubbed for her role in her own voice, Priyamani did not do it. Her role was dubbed with the help of a dubbing artist.

The irony is that Priyamani is a Keralite and Malayalam is her mother tongue!
