A single hit is enough to bring many changes in a film star, especially in actresses. Though Actors never used to come out openly against other heroes, many actresses try to show their supremacy over the other heroines after giving a hit. Once they deliver a hit can not restrain themselves from passing one or two comments against the other heroines.Anushka is not an exceptional case in this regard. Her latest hit ‘Arundhati’ placed her in front of media giving them enough stuff to live upon for a while, with her comments against bare-back beauty NayanataraWhile in a chit chat with a film reporter at Hyderabad, Anushka said that, ‘I think I deserve the appreciation and honours for my acting in the film Arundhati Really it is a critical role in my film career. It is quite a difficult task to deliver so much variation while playing the dual roles. I don’t think even Nayan can give such a wonderful performance, and as far as the film is concerned, I think there is no competitor for me in the near future, even it is remade in other languages.’
The long legged sexy yoga teacher turned heroine Anushka is now the most sought after actress in Tollywood. She is now inching to the top and has also hiked up hr remuneration considerably. Anushka is now asking for one crore per film and the producers are more than willing to sign her up at this rate. Anushka’s role as Jejamma in the film Arundathi brought her many new fans and the film also become a big hit. She appeared for most part in period costumes with heavy jewellery that covered her from head to toe. In contrast, Anushka appeared in skimpy costumes and a bikin in the Prabhas starer Billa. She sizzled in her reveling clothes and for the fans it was a feast for the eyes. But still, the film failed to click at the box office. Anushka is now both upset and confused. She is upset at the failure of Billa and confused as to what exactly it is that her fans want from her and also as to what clicks at the box office? A fully covered Anushka in Arundathi or a bikini clad Anushka in Billa?
That seems to be the question which is still lingering in the minds of many. There was a strong grapevine that the hot beauty Anushka will be doing a special item song in the debut film of Naga Chaitanya but later it was all quashed as a rumor. However, there are still those who say that this is going to be a surprise package. So it looks like the mystery will be on till the movie actually hits the screens. Wonder what Anushka has to say to this....
Despite so many days after its release Arundhati is still going strong and in many instances is raking in more moolah than new releases, what could be the reason for this?An analysis reveals that there are two primary reasons for this tremendous run for this film, first there are repeat audiences and the second all films released after Arundhati have not matched up to the film, they have not been able to take on the might of Arundhati and so Arundhati still rules the box office roost.Analysts say that the film will keep the box offices bells ringing as long as a very strong contender in the form of a big hero film does not arrive, keeping the present market trend that is going to take sometime and so till such time it is indeed Jai Ho Arundhati!!
