Anushka Celebrated her NY in her guest house

Tollywood luscious beauty Anushka took a five day off from her busy schedule to celebrate the New Year festival in her guest house located in a village near her home town Mysore. People of the village were thrilled to see their favourite actress in such a close range. Anushka and her family members have reached the village one day in advance to enjoy the occasion. People living in the surrounding villages who came to knew about her arrival were rushing to her guest house to have a close glimpse of their favourite heroine.

Anushka busy with Tamilnadu Ministers?

Beautiful anushka is spreading her arms now in Tamil industry after her successful career in Telugu. The latest blockbuster of Tamil "Vettaikaran," with Vijay and anushka in the lead has given enough mileage for her.

Now, it is known that Tamil offers are pouring heavily for anushka while she is picking up selected. Even few producers are arriving at anushka with recommendations from Tamil ministers to book her for their movies. Will this hot beauty shift her base to Kollywood?

Anushka said Nayanatara is not my competitor

A single hit is enough to bring many changes in a film star, especially in actresses. Though Actors never used to come out openly against other heroes, many actresses try to show their supremacy over the other heroines after giving a hit. Once they deliver a hit can not restrain themselves from passing one or two comments against the other heroines.

Anushka is not an exceptional case in this regard. Her latest hit ‘Arundhati’ placed her in front of media giving them enough stuff to live upon for a while, with her comments against bare-back beauty NayanataraWhile in a chit chat with a film reporter at Hyderabad, Anushka said that, ‘I think I deserve the appreciation and honours for my acting in the film Arundhati Really it is a critical role in my film career. It is quite a difficult task to deliver so much variation while playing the dual roles. I don’t think even Nayan can give such a wonderful performance, and as far as
the film is concerned, I think there is no competitor for me in the near future, even it is remade in other languages.’

Arundhathi celebrates 50 days Today

By far the most successful film of 2009, Arundhathi is celebrating 50 days of exhibition in
theatres today.Arundhathi, featuring Anushka in double role, has been produced by D Shyamprasad Reddy under the banner of Mallemala Entertainments and directed by Kodi Ramakrishna.

The film has superb visual special effects that enhanced the visual value of the narration.
Cinematography by K K Senthil Kumaran and Visual SFX by Rahul K Nambiar are the highlights
of the film.

Anushka, Sonu Sood and Sayaji Shinde have given exhilarating performances in the film.

Anushka in Mahesh Babu’s Varudu?

The long awaited film of Mahesh Babu, tentatively titled as Varudu, directed by Trivikram Srinivas is finally going on to floors on February 18, but without Parvathi Melton.
Parvathi was announced as the female lead for the film, but the shooting of the film was delayed by almost 6 months. It is reported that Parvathi’s mother met with an accident and she had to go to take care of her mother and so dropped herself from the project.

According to reports, Ileana and Nayantara were contacted and talks are on with Anushka, whose film Arundhathi is breaking all box office records.nushka is now shooting for Prabhas’ Billa and said to be the most ikely candidate to replace Parvathi Melton in Mahesh Babu’s film.

An item number by Hansika

Hansika Motwani who acted as heroine in Desamuduru and Kantri movies is now all set to do an item number in Prabhas next film. This yet to be named Prabhas film is being directed by Meher Ramesh and is being produced by Krishnam Raju on Gopi Krishna Movies banner.

Hansika is doing this item number on the request of director Meher Ramesh who directed her earlier film Kantri. She is going to do the role of Jayamalini in a re-mix version of “Naa paruvam…”

This Prabhas film is actually a remake of yester year telugu film Yugandhar and recent tamil film Billa. Prabhas plays the role of Yugandgar in the new film while Anushka will play the lead heroine role.

The Tamil film 'Billa' starring Ajith and Nayantara is being remade in Telugu with Prabaas playing the lead role. Actress Anushka has been roped in to play the part that Nayantara performed in a flamboyant way. Nayantara sizzled on screen with terrific costumes and even featured in a two piece bikini in the film.

After the producers of the Telugu version highlighted the fact that Anushka too should act wearing a two piece bikini, the actress consented but then has asked for a whopping amount of rupees one crore. The producers are reportedly okay with this.

'Billa' was shot extensively in 'Little India' in Malaysia in a stylish, youthful and extravagant manner. Audiences loved the cinematography, background music and costumes amalgamated with the good looks of all the actors.

The Telugu version too is expected to follow the same pattern. Anushka is a very successful actress in Telugu films and has it in her to recreate the same magic that Nayantara had successfully done. Anushka had featured in one Tamil film 'Rendu' alongside Madhavan but then the film didn't do so well at the box office.

With Anushka's remuneration reaching a crore of rupees she becomes the second highest paid Telugu actress after Ileana.
