Siddardha ready to Stike again in telugu

Film Bommarillu gave an excellent platform to its young hero Siddarth , to firmly establish himself in Tollywood. On the other hand, unlike the other heroes in the industry he made his presence felt in Hindi belt with his film ‘Rangdhe Basanti.’ Soon after giving a hit he once again delivered another hit film ‘Striker’ in Hindi.

Film Striker is based upon the circumstances of Mumbai city in ‘80s. Siddarth acts as a caroms champion in this film. Padmapriya and Vidya Malwade are the heroines in this film. Now, this film is being dubbed into Telugu with same title by Indu Films. The film has many interesting things to know about.

The film is directed and produced by successful director Chandan Arora. There are six music directors worked for this film. Yuvan Shankar Raja, Vishal Bharadwaj, Swananad Kirkere, Sailendra Kumar, Blaz and Amit Trivedhi are the six persons who gave music to this film. Hero Siddarth, who has some singing experience in his earlier films, sang in this film also. Striker is releasing on 5th of February

Sruthi Hassan Demands 25 Lakhs for That

It is already known that Shruti Haasan has reportedly signed the project opposite Siddharth which will be directed by popular Telugu filmmaker Prakash, son of the legendary film-maker, K.Raghavendra Rao.

Now, the news is that Shruti Haasan has demanded Rs.25 lakhs for her role in this film and, K.Prakash has paid her the remuneration that the actress demanded. To be frank, the amount Shruti demanded is high for just one film old actress. However, Prakash might have felt that Shruti is apt for this role. According to the sources she’s playing the role of an ‘Angel’ in the flick.

Naga chaitanya’s third movie under the direction of Ajay Bhuyan will be launching in the month of March. ‘Kamakshi kala movies’ is presenting the film with D Siva Prasad Reddy as producer.

Allu Arjun’s Marriage In May

It appears that the wedding bells are ringing quite strongly in the film industry these days. Just before many are getting out of the engagement ceremony of Rambha that the news of NTR junior getting married has struck them. While many are figuring out the engagement and wedding dates, another bomb has been dropped now.

Sources say that stylish star Allu Arjun is likely to follow suit of NTR junior and if all goes well, then he is likely to get married during the month of May. As it is, the grapevine has been strong that Allu Arjun has been seeing a girl from a while and she is not from the film industry.

On the other hand, a few others say that this is just a rumor and it is in fact the talk about his movie ‘Varudu’ which has been converted into a real life marriage topic. Priyanka Chopra's maternal grandfather Manohar Kishan Akhouri reported to have died of brain haemorrhage on Wednesday. Aged 84, Akhbouri died in a hospital in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. z A bereaved Priyanka expressed her grief on the social networking site, “Lost my nana (grandfather)...I'm so far away from home...feeling a bit lost…Will not be around a while. Nana.. I love u.”

Akhouri was the district Congress president.

Story:

An intense tale, the story is set on the backdrop of the channel wars and here is Vijay Malik (Amitabh) who owns a news channel 'India 24 X 7'. He believes in the moral code of responsibility towards society and his channel comes up with honest news and reporting. However, his son Jay (sudeep) thinks otherwise and for him, this is just a means of income. Then, there is Amreesh (mohnish) who is a staunch rival to Vijay and he has a channel 'Headlines 24' that is zooming high on TRPs. Jay wants to achieve that spot and in this process, the opposition party leader Mohan Pande (paresh rawal) comes into picture. He decides to use both the channels to bring down the government and get to power. What are the consequences of that and what happens to Vijay's integrity forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:

The director has come up with a point blank truthful situation and both his presentation and narrative are top notch. The dialogues are lengthy but meaningful, the script was tight and the screenplay was efficient. Background score was excellent but songs were poor. Cinematography is the real hero of the movie, they have captured the scenes with amazing brilliance. Editing was crisp. Costumes were perfect and the art department was convincing. Amitabh has given another masterly performance and only he could do justice to that role, Sudeep is a stunner and he will go a long way in Bollywood. Mohnish Behl had substance and he did good, Suchitra was neat, Neetu looked hot and sensuous, Paresh Rawal was outstanding, Rajpal Yadav was hilarious. The others did their bit as required and contributed valuably to the film.

Conclusion:

The film is an outright satire on the current ways of the electronic media and it is hard to say that anything is wrong with the message the makers are conveying. While the first half goes about with the regular elements of relations, drama, politics etc, it is the second half where things get into high voltage and the intensity reaches a peak. The flip side of the film is that it is too serious and very teaching types. Some might find it hard to relate to the protagonist given his ideals. The technical values are superb and the production values are high. This will appeal strictly to those who like serious and sensible cinema with a strong message, so it is the urban and multiplex crowd. Given the current political situation in our state, this would appeal in a big way
