Venkatesh has turned into a vegetarian

Venkatesh has donned many roles in his sixty odd films. But now he will appear for the first time as a Brahmin poojari in Kamal Hasan’s film Marmayogi.

Though no details of the story of Marmayogi have been given by the makers of the film, it is said that Kamal plays a role where he discovers himself and recollects his previous births.

Venkatesh plays the part of a holy Brahmin who with his spiritual blessings transforms Kamal into the path of a yogi. According to reports, Venkatesh, who is known for his spiritual inclinations and who regularly practices meditation, refrained from consuming alcohol and eating non-vegetarian until he completes his role in Marmayogi.
