Yesterday, the night at Grand Hyatt hotel was a filmy affair, laced with glitter, glamour and of course hi-fi stars. The wedding reception of Raj-Shilpa was brimming with celebrities, famous people all dressed in their best. The place was buzzing with rustle of branded clothes, gupshup of important guests, rich celebration – in all the reception had served as a melting pot for Ooos and Aaahs.

In shimmering golden outfit, Shilpa looked every inch of oomph bride. Alongside, her husband Raj Kundra matched to her elegance and style in a black designer sherwani. Shilpa’s parents and sister too added to the grand quotient.
Coming to the guests, the list was overflowing with beautiful eminent people from various fields. While the ladies competed with each other in bright colourful outfits, the men were not far behind in their designer suits and sherwanis. Bachchan, Khans, Roshans and all the other top names in industry had graced the reception. Yesteryears’ beauties Rekha, Jayaprada had swished in their rich kanchipuram sarees while Kingfisher tycoon Vijay Mallya threw about his royalty with his presence. Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Shahrukh Khan, his wife Gauri, Hrithik Roshan, his wife Sussanne Roshan, Rani Mukherjee, Fardeen Khan, Vivek Oberoi, Sameera Reddy, Juhi Chawla, Amisha Patel, Kangana Ranaut, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Shabana Azmi, Manish Malhotra, Karan Johar, Vivek Oberoi, Govinda, Suniel Shetty, Neil Mukesh… and many many more.
There were several filmmakers like David Dhawan, Nagesh Kukunoor, Madhur Bhandarkar, Sanjay Khan; music industry junta including Adnan Sami, Alka Yagni, Sunidhi Chauhan, Javed Aktar seen there.
Phew! The grand event will truly be a lifetime memory for the newly wedded couple, the guests and for us people… right?
