Reliance Big Entertainment adds two more

Red Om Films owned by actress Julia Roberts and Rat Productions owned by film maker Brett Ratner are the new companies which have started a tie up with Reliance Big Entertainment.

These new partnerships were made possible by the Creative Artists Agency (CAA).

Chairman of Reliance Big Entertainment Amit Khanna talking about the tie-ups told,

"Our innovative foray into Hollywood has proved very productive on the development front and we are now looking forward to moving into the film making stage over the coming months. We were immediately impressed by both Julia Robert's and Brett Ratner's enthusiasm for our creative partnership plan".

With these new deals, the total number of Hollywood production companies working with Reliance Big Entertainment has gone up to nine

Saturn Productions of Nicolas Cage, JC 23 Entertainment of Jim Carrey, Geroge Clooney's Smokehouse Productions, 1492 Pictures owned by Chris Columbus, Playtone Productions of Tom Hanks, Brad Pitt's Plan B Entertainment and Jay Roach's Everyman Pictures are the other companies that have previously signed production deals with Reliance Big Entertainment.

A division of Reliance Big Entertainment named as Reliance BIG Picture will be taking care of the international projects.

Reliance Big Entertainment's media investments in Hollywood is part of its long term strategy in the creation of a virtual studio and a fully integrated movie company with full facilities and expertise in production, distribution and exhibition of movies.

Reliance Big Entertainment will be having the Indian rights of all the Hollywood films that it co-finances and also expects to attract suitable productions, with appropriate incentives to India.
