The latest best buddies adorning tinsel town is the JD Chakravarthy and Jagathi Babu duo. The two joined hands for the venture ‘Homam’ which was inspired by the Hollywood flick ‘The Departed’. It was an action film all the way that made a reasonable run at the box office. Following it, the new friend of JD, Jagapathi Babu was said to be immensely impressed by his directorial skills which paved way for their upcoming sequel titled ‘Siddham’.
They have a strong bond between them which might lead way to bring out many more flicks in their combination. JD being an ardent pupil of Ram Gopal Varma is being said to direct a sequel for the Telugu ‘Raksha’. The film might once again be enacted by Jagapathi Babu, says sources.
JD has also laid his eyes upon the Hindi blockbuster ‘A Wednesday’ which has a powerful cop role in the cast. We can most probably say with closed eyes that albeit we have a few actors for such roles, JD might sure opt for his friend if the script goes to the floors. For now, the patronage for JD’s and Jagapathi Babu’s is on a lukewarm stage which might rise high if the duo churns out a blockbuster entertainer.
