If one could remember Pawan Kalyan had commented on Rajshekar that the actor cannot speak proper Telugu, this had Rajshekar completely shaken and in his trademark style had his wife retort to Pawan Kalyan's remarks.

Now, after much deliberation he has the incident inserted in his upcoming film Satyameva Jayate, and now he claims that he has an appropriate retort for Pawan Kalyan in the movie.

That's interesting, but one doubt largely lurks in the audience's mind, and that is, if the retort (hopefully in Telugu) would be in Rajshekar's own voice, or in a dubbed voice? Rajshekar could make efforts to clarify on this aspect also.

Hrithik Roshan is learning Spanish for his home production Kites, where his co-star is Barbara Mori. Hrithik will speak a few dialogues in Spanish in the film, but he is learning the language to converse with Mori on the sets. Now, the news is that even his wife Sussanne has shown interest to learn Spanish. The couple is now taking Spanish lessons together.

Kites deals with romance between a Hindi speaking hero and a Spanish speaking heroine. Though love blossoms, they have no way to communicate with each other verbally. This is a plot first experimented by Raj Kapoor in the third episode of Mera Naam Joker.

JD's 'Siddham' coming on 12th Feb

After a successful outing in 'Homam', director JD Chakravarthy is coming back with 'Siddham' said to be a sequel starring Jagapathi Babu and Sindhu Menon in the main cast. It has been produced by Koneru Kiran Kumar on Shreya Productions banner.

The plot is about an episode in a cop's life which is based on real life police men Dayanayak and PSR Anjaneyulu. Speaking to the media, JD said, "Jagapathi Babu enacts the role of a vigilant and valorous cop who doesn't refrain from encounter if need arises. He's of the view that 'A doctor medicates…an engineer builds and I am to Kill', which is for justice."

Disparate from the usual cop stories, in 'Siddham' the police officer doesn't have any personal vengeance but only for his job against the criminals. Interestingly, there are no songs in this film to maintain the fast pace all along.

Sindhu Menon who plays the female lead has a lot of scope to perform. The message conveyed by 'Siddham' is it might be easy to face death but not to take life out of someone. We have one more cop story ready to encounter the screens this February.

Jagapathi Babu refused at first: ‘Dil’ Raju

‘Aakasamantha’ produced by ‘Dil’ Raju on Sri Venkateshwara Creations banner has Jagapathi Babu playing a prominent role in the film. Directed by Radha Mohan, Prakash Raj and Trisha enact the role of a father and daughter in the movie.

During a recent press meet producer ‘Dil’ Raju said, “We had a special character in the film which has ample scope to perform. I later sent the DVD of the Tamil version of ‘Aakasamantha’ title ‘Abhiyum Naanum’ to Jagapthi Babu and asked his consent to do the role. He called me and refused to accept my proposal.”

‘He said as he is playing hero at present in three films, he might not suit the cameo. In another effort keeping our longtime acquaintance in mind, I approached him for a second opinion and said it would be a valuable addition for the film. After a few minutes of deep thinking, he agreed and I am thankful for him consenting to my request.’

We are making efforts to complete the shooting by February and release the film for Ugadi on March 27, said Raju.

'Slumdog Millionaire's noble gesture

'Slumdog Millioniare' will be long remembered as the film that went a step beyond just providing entertainment. Not because of its extraordinary journey wining the audience world over grabbing Golden Globes and becoming a front runner for the Academy Awards. But for becoming a medium through which hope and happiness was brought to the lives of several children.

Director Danny Boyle has spoken about the plans of the financiers of the film to give a good amount from the profits to the slums in Mumbai. The money will be used for uplifting the life of several underprivileged children.

Danny Boyle said "We want to set it up as soon as possible. What absolutely mustn't happen is that the money disappears, or people think this a PR stunt". He also added that the film is going to give something back to an extraordinary city which has helped in producing an extraordinary film.

The financiers of the film will be meeting in London next week to finalize the amount to be put into the special fund.

Akshay stands up for wrestling

Thanks to Akshay Kumar, now six aspiring sports men can look towards their future with more hope. The action star has agreed to help six wrestlers for the next five years. It was last year, that the actor, while attending the All India Wrestling Championship told that he can assist some wrestlers in going up in the sport.

On Tuesday evening after meeting with this year's six best wrestlers, Akshay immediately agreed to the proposal put forth by the organizer of the Wrestling Championship and congress spokesman Sanjay Nirupam. So for the next five years, Akshay will be funding the entire diet expenses of the six wrestlers.

Sindhu Menon got ample recognition after her role in Krishna Vamsi’s Chandamama. Now she is playing a mature role, not as a young romantic heroine, in JD Cakravarthy’s film Siddham. Shah Rukh Khan to undergo surgery

Shah Rukh Khan to undergo operation for a tear in the shoulder muscle. He suffered the injury in Mumbai when shooting a stunt scene for Mudassar Aziz’s Dulha Mil Gaya. But, SRK continued shooting with physiotherapy from Dr Ali Irani.

Then, SRK flew to Los Angeles for a month-long schedule of shooting for Karan Johar’s My Name Is Khan. During the shooting, he was taken to a hospital with severe shoulder pain. The MRI test revealed the tear in his left shoulder.

SRK is back in Mumbai to undergo a shoulder arthroscopy to repair the tear in his supra-spinatus muscle.

Akshay Kumar, one of the highest paid Bollywood actors, will pay and take care of the special diet of six economically backward wrestlers, who will participate in the 10th All India Wrestling Championship to be held in Mumbai from February 1.

Sanjay Nirupam, organiser of the Wrestling Championship, said that six best wrestlers had been selected.

The wrestlers are Bipin Varma, Ajay Yadav, Kallu Yadav, Gopal Yadav (all from Mumbai), Amol Patil (Jalgaon) and Ranjeet Nalawade (Kolhapur).

Hrithik Roshan injured on the sets of Kites

Hrithik Roshan was injured while shooting for his home production Kites. Hrithik hurt his arm while doing a stunt shot at the Filmistan studio. He was breaking a glass with a rod and one piece of glass flew and injured his arm. Though the injury is not serious, he has undergone medical attention and advised a few days rest.

Kites is being directed by Anurag Basu. Hirithik was injured in October 2008 while shooting for the same film Kites. His knee suffered a crack while doing a dangerous car stunt in Las Vegas.

Shilpa Shetty has drawn down plans to tonsure her head and go bald. For one of her films, she claims that the character in the film needed to look bald, but the news about her tonsure plans reached the companies which use Shilpa's services as a brand ambassador; they immediately raised a red flag asking her to drop the plans to tonsure her head.

Ram Gopal Varma and his trusted lieutenant JD Chakravarthy have decided to make a sequel to the film Raksha. The film Raksha starring Jagapathi Babu was based on black magic and witchcraft and was successful at the box office. The same film was made in Hindi by RGV and titled Phoonk. Now that Arundhathi in Telugu and Raaz…the Mystery Continues becoming hits, RGV is said to have decided to go ahead with Raksha 2 in Telugu and Phoonk 2 in Hindi. Raksha 2 will be produced by Z3 Pictures and directed by JD. Jagapathi Babu will play the lead in this film also.
