Ravi Teja 'Kick'(s) into third schedule

RR Movie Makers next is ‘Kick’ starring Ravi Teja and Ileana, in the direction of Surendar Reddy. Maker of mega hit movies like Kalyan Ram’s ‘Athanokkade’, NTR’s ‘Ashok’ and Mahesh Babu’s ‘Athidi’, Surendar is now churning out a hit for Ravi Teja.

Currently, the second schedule of the shooting is in progress. The film highlights the characterization of Ravi Teja, and is said to be made differently compared to the earlier films of Suredar Reddy. The movie will soon kick into the third phase of filming.

Alongside Ravi Teja and Ileana, Tamil actor Shyam and Ashimka are playing one more lead pair in the movie. The makers are planning to release the film next year for April 2009.

Is Tabu the 10th heroine?

The film King starring Nagarjuna and Trisha in the lead roles is fast nearing completion. Director Srinu Vytla is now busy finalizing the actresses for a hot group song for the film. The song will be along the lines of what Shah Rukh Khan did in the Hindi film Om Shanthi Om.

It has been announced that 10 heroines will dance with Nagarjuna for the group song. The names of nine actresses have been announced. They are – Trisha, Mamatha Mohandas, Charmy, Anushka, Parvati Melton, Sneha, Priyamani, Sneha Ullal and Kamna Jethmalani.

The name of the 10th heroine is being kept a secret. The rumour doing the rounds is that the sexy Tabu, a hot favourite of Nagarjuna is likely to be the 10th heroine in the group song.

Priyamani`s bikini act

Priyamani is a talented actress. She is not the run of the mill glamour doll. She even has a national Best actress award to her credit. Priyamani is now busy with films in Telugu as well as Tamil.

Puri Jagannath’s tie up with hero Ravi Teja ended up in blockbuster hits like 'Itlu Sravani Subrahmanyam', 'Amma Nanna O Tamil Ammai', and 'Idiot'. Now the duo is again coming back with ‘Neninthe’ starring Shiya as heroine and produced by DVV Danayya on Universal Media banner.

Recently, the unit reeled the final song of the film at Bangkok. Earlier, the movie was planned for a release on the 15th of December, however due to some unrevealed reasons it has been postponed to the first week of January.

'Sasirekha Parinayam's music on 4th Dec

Krishna Vamsi has directed the movie 'Sasirekha Parinayam' starring Tarun and Genelia, produced by Sunkara Madhu Murali on Karthikeya Creations banner.

Woven around the incidents connected with the marriage of a girl from Rajahmundry, the story is an inspiration from an episode of the classic movie 'Mayabazar'. Currently, the movie is in post-production works.

The makers are releasing the audio on 4th of this month. It is learnt that the movie has been planned for a January 1st release.

No plans to make movies on Mumbai's 26/11 assaults – RamGopal Varma

RamGopal Varma who has embroiled himself many a times in controversies is now again in the headlines.

This time in connection with his visit to the ravaged Taj hotel after the terror strike, what appeared like he accompanied Chief Minister Vilas Rao Deshmukh on his official entourage of the site, along with his son and actor Riteish.

The media highlighted RGV's visit to Taj that raised a controversy among the opposition parties, which questioned the issue. RGV has clearly stated that, Mr. Deshmukh has not invited him. As a coincidence he met his son Riteish at the place and went in with him.

The filmmaker known for making close-to-reality films also denied any plans to make a movie on Mumbai's 26/11 assaults.

Star studded 10K Run

Hyderabad 10K foundation organizes 10K Run (Half Marathon and Full Marathon) every year, with an objective to promote healthy living and the warmth of togetherness (sports, fitness, health and unity) among citizens.

Every year people from various fields and age groups join this marathon to proclamate that we are all equal and united. This year the event has been organized which will take place on 30th November.
