Is Mahesh Babu playing Police Officer in Dookudu? Well, that’s the news thus far! It seems that Mahesh Babu is playing full length Police Officer role in his next film ‘Dookudu’. Mahesh Babu’s Dookudu is directed by Srinu Vytla and produced by 14 Reels Entertainment.

It seems that Seenu Vytla has come up with a good script that suits Mahesh Babu. And Prakash Raj is playing an important role and he replaces Sri Hari, who was the earlier choice.

Samantha is playing the female lead and the shooting for this ‘Dookudu’ movie would start from September 3 and regular shooting could take place from September 12 – after Kaleja shooting is completed. Thaman of ‘Kick’ fame is composing music for ‘Dookudu’.

‘Mahesh Khaleja’ Settlement @ Rs 60 Lakhs?

Just recently, it was mentioned that the ‘Khaleja’ controversy was settled for Rs 10 lakhs but there seems to be more than that meets the eye. Apparently, the producer Subba Reddy, who owns the Nitya Sree Productions banner arranged for a press meet and let out his steam.
He quoted “What sort of an adjustment is this?  Tomorrow, shall I rename the title of ‘Orange’ as ‘Uday Kiran Orange’? Will that work? I have already fixed the title and project with a big hero and even the story is also narrated to him”.
However, reliable sources say that there is another story to it. As per them, the real story is that Subba Reddy demanded Rs 70 lakhs for settlement but the makers of ‘Khaleja’ gave him Rs 10 lakhs and asked him to keep quiet. However, he has again demanded money and that’s why the press meet. Whether it will be an out of court settlement, fight or whether the film chamber will help, remains to be seen.

Mahesh Babu, Meher Ramesh combo to rock soon!

It’s going to be good news to Mahesh fans again. This is for the first time we can see that director Meher Ramesh and prince Mahesh Babu are going to join hands for a new film which is said to be yet another high budget movie.

Sources say that though Mahesh has busy schedule of films, he agreed to do Meher Ramesh’s film. It is heard that the movie could be produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateshwara Creations. Inside sources say that currently discussions are going on about the script and it could be a novel theme. If everything goes well, the project would go on floors the early next year by pushing back all Mahesh’s films.

Currently, Meher Ramesh is busy in directing NTR for ‘Shakti’ and on the other hand, Mahesh is busy in wrapping up his ‘Mahesh Khaleja’.

Let’s wait and see how this new combo will rock on the silver screen.

Most Secret Mahesh factor behind 'Khaleja'.

Yes, this has been a new revealation that there is a hidden secret behind Mahesh Babu demanding the title ‘khaleja’ for his new movie and that too with the same and particular logo which has been published by Mahesh on Twitter.
On a clear look at Mahesh’s career, it has been phenomenal success for all his movies which are titled with three Telugu alphabets. Example being Okkadu, Pokiri, Athadu, Arjun which are all made of three Telugu alphabets.
Here comes the latest and second one. Please look at the title ‘khaleja’ above very keenly. You see ‘Kha’ resembling the number ‘4’ while ‘Le’ matches with number ‘3’ and ‘Ja’ shows number ‘2’ imbibed in it. So, a total sum of ‘9’ which is known t be the lucky number for Mahesh Babu.
With Mahesh Babu getting his lucky number both alphabetically and numerically, secret is revealed and super hit is confirmed.

No long break for me: Mahesh

Flamboyance and Leos, we had thought were intrinsically linked. But the reclusive Mahesh Babu who turned 35 a couple of days ago continues to baffle in more ways than one.
For starters, no superstar so far had taken on an almost three-year sabbatical while at the peak of his career, but Mahesh has done it and before we could attribute it to sheer leonine arrogance given his huge fan base (he’s even got the most number of followers amongst the T-towners, on his micro-blogging site), he confesses that “it wasn’t meant to be as long as it turned out to be!”

Dearth of good scripts apart, the making of his ready-for-release film Khaleja took a good two years. While revamping the script did take time, the other factors that lead to the delay was the demise of wife Namrata’s parents and the passing away of Mahesh’s grandmom. But his long break from films “was a positive experience all the way” and has helped him “grow as a human being and an actor.”
Talking of Khaleja, Mahesh says he “fell for the script” though he was “not sure how it would be carried forward”. “But the final turnout was fab and the delay was worth it,” he observes and adds, “In this film you will see a totally different characterisation of me, I’ve never seen myself in that light as an actor.”
In real life too we see a different Mahesh in action, there’s goss that he’s got three films riding on him - Sreenu Vytla’s Dookudu, a Raja Mouli film and the remake of 3 Idiots - now that seems a bit too much for someone who’d barely do two films a year! “I am not on a signing spree. The films I have signed are sufficiently spaced out,” he justifies. On his essaying Aamir’s role in the remake of 3 Idiots, he says, “It’s still not finalised. I can’t comment on this, as it is still under talks ... ”
Being a superstar has its pluses and also has its limitations if you believe him. “It’s not very easy to experiment with roles in Telugu cinema, but I try and bring novelty into the character I play” he quips.One has to agree with that, for Mahesh has been able to break away from the image in his earlier films that were akin to his father superstar Krishna. But he’s quick to point out he’s a big fan of his father, though he’s emerged from the shadow of the superstar. “I am a big fan of my father. I am proud to be his son. He’s always been my idol. Alluri Seetharamaraju is my all-time favourite and despite him having such a huge body of work to his name, I have been able to carve a unique image for myself.” So does he have plans of doing Hindi films? “Only if the script excites me,” he quips.Talking of his marriage he says that it “has been a blessing in more ways than one. Gautam (my son) is the biggest gift I have ever received. It’s because of him I have been able to realise the importance of being alive and being present for your loved ones. I can safely say that I like being in this stage.”
By his own admission, Mahesh is neither a fitness freak nor is he into diets. Besides a simple exercise regimen, he does not go off bounds, thanks to his genes.
Those who follow him on the Net know how generous he is when it comes to appreciating his co-stars be it the “rocking songs” in Komaram Puli or his best wishes to the Robot team. He’s “tremendously influenced by Eckhart Tolle’s A New Earth-Awakening to Life’s Purpose and tries to follow the book as much as he

Mahesh waiting for his turn of 'Shivaji'.

Ask mahesh babu or his father Super Star Krishna about their dream role and phat comes the answer that is going to be Maratha warrior and legendary king Shivaji. Ofcourse, there are none of the producers or directors in our South to start ground work on this powerful project; half of our work is done by Bollywood because there are nearly three films that are getting ready with the subject of ‘Shivaji’ with heroes like Sanjay Dutt and Amitabh Bachchan trying to throw light on this Maratha King.
 
First one is from Vinay Apte who roped in Amitabh Bachchan for Shahaji Bhosle (Shivaji’s father) role and Gulshan Grover for antagonist Adil Shah role while hero Shivaji’s name is still hidden and this would be the first time that ‘Shivaji’ is shown in six pack and as muscular man.

Next one is from producer & director Soham Shah who is directing Sanjay Dutt in the role of Shivaji and one more Marathi project is in pipeline. With these many projects to serve as a guide,  this would be the best time for mahesh babu and Krishna to start trials for their dream project and create history…

Director feels dejected of being a Mahesh Fan.

Yes, his name is Subba Reddy who worked with many experienced directors like SV Krishna Reddy, Shiva Nageshwara Rao and others is feeling dejected of being a Fan to Super Star Krishna and mahesh babu.
This Subba Reddy is the same director who registered the title of ‘Khaleja’ for his forthcoming film. ‘Iam the biggest fan of mahesh babu and his father Super Star Krishna. Every year on both their birthdays, my brother and me will arrange ‘Anna Danam’ and organize social welfare activities. Being close to Congress Party, we met Krishna many a times and he was happy looking at us.
After a struggle of 10 years in the field, I came through this producer Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy who was impressed with my ‘Khaleja’ script and we started working on it from one year. Now, mahesh babu and producer C. Kalyan are trying to take away our title. This will be end of my career as my producer is not
ready to change the title. Being a Mahesh Fan, Iam requesting them not to kill my career and don’t use our title.’

Trivikram see Sunil as no more a comedian.

When ‘Andala Ramudu’ was released, sunil wasn’t thoroughly able to cash on the success of the movie even though his dancing and acting abilities were into discussion. sunil, doesn’t want to repeat the same again this time with ‘Maryada Ramanna’ which is declared a stupendous hit.
Although few more projects like ‘Katha Screenplay Direction Appalaraju’ on Sanvi Creations and one more from ‘Tolly 2 Holly’ banner are upcoming projects from sunil; industry circles say that sunil’s best buddy Trivikram Srinivas has penned a special role for him in ‘Khaleja’ with an intention that sunil is no more a comedian and is already a grown up hero.
With few more projects queueing up for sunil as hero; not alone Trivikram even it is an open talk that sunil can no more suppress his career as a side artist or as a comedian. Let us wish that, sunil take his career graph altogether to a new level.

Krishna trying to save Mahesh.

 Though already placed in the top league of Tollywood actors, mahesh babu  is still a kid for his father Super Star Krishna. This was one of the situation where in Krishna was trying to cover up the huge gap that mahesh babu has taken in the release of his ‘Khaleja’ after happening of ‘Athidi.’
‘Actually mahesh babu was ready to complete the movie (Khaleja) at earliest. It was director and producer who are responsible for such long shooting. Mahesh explained me that, if he gets deviated onto other project without completing this, there was danger that ‘Khaleja’ would never be released. So, he took these many number of days patiently to complete it before accepting others,’ Krishna tried to push the delay of ‘Khaleja’ on Trivikram and Singanamala making Mahesh to land in safe area.
But, none knows whats that really made ‘Khaleja’ to run into troubles. Hope that release will sort out every problem.
