Mani Rathnam is a known perfectionist and it came as no surprise to industry wallahs when the director decided to reshoot portions of Raavan. A source said, "Mani watched the final version of Raavan recently and was not happy with the way a few scenes shaped up.He wanted to reshoot them. "The scenes were reshot in Polachi and the schedule was completed in four days flat," adds the source. Mani is now happy with the final product
