Junior's Brindavanam on Oct 14th confirmed.

The Jr. NTR starrer film Brindavanam is now being postponed by a week. The film was earlier slated for release on October 8, i.e. a day after the release of Mahesh Khaleja.
Finally, Jr.NTR's latest flick 'Brindavanam' is coming on October 14th. In a press meet today, the producer of the movie 'Dil Raju' confirmed the release date of this family entertainer. Kajal Agarwal and Samantha Prabhu plays the lead roles opposite Jr.NTR. Srihari, Prakashraj play other important roles in the flick. Brindavanam is directed by Vamsi Paidpalli of Munna fame. Thaman scores the music, while Chota.K.Naidu takes charge of the cinematography.
However the fans of Jr. NTR brought in a lot of pressure on Dil Raju. They did not wnt to send an impression that Jr. NTR got scarred with Mahesh Khaleja and hence postponed his Brindavanam.

Mahesh Khaleja lands in court for Title.

The Brand-babu is currently engulfed in ‘Khaleja’ title issue again. The title’s registered owner, Vinay Bhaskar Reddy approached the III Additional Magistrate’s Court of Hyderabad to request the halt of release of the movie ‘Mahesh Khaleja’. The brand name ‘Mahesh’ before the original title ‘Khaleja’ couldn’t save the film from the clutches of law it seems. The court issued notices to the star hero, director and producers of the movie seeking an explanation before the court.
Let us wish that ‘Mahesh Khaleja’ will be freed from the issues surrounding it and ensures a smooth release for the desperate fans.

Komaram Puli on September 10th with more than 420 prints

The fans of Telugu films as well as of Pawan Kalyan’s must have already known that his much anticipated film ‘Komaram Puli’ is going to hit the silver screens on September 10th after overcoming many controversial stories and too many delays.
The latest news is that the film is going to release in more than 420 prints which is said to be the first single language Telugu movie in Indian cinema to be released with highest number of prints.
On the other side, Nikisha Patel who is making her debut as a heroine with this film might also have a sigh of relief as she is waiting from long time for the release of the film.

Prince mahesh babu is on a Mega Mission and his Fans can’t take any break. Magadheera completes 400 days run!

The Ram Charan and kajal Agarwal starrer film Maghadheera has broken several records in Tollywood. The film is still maintaining its successful run.

Magadheera has completed 400 days screening at Lakshmi cinema hall in Kurnool. The film is expected to run for two years and create another record. The Theatre management proudly announced that it is still screening the film to the packed houses till date. Perhaps, this is the third film in Indian film industry that was uninterruptedly played for more than one year in a Theatre. Natsimha Balakrishna’s ‘Param Veera Chakra’ movie shooting has been called off due ot sensitive issues prevailed yesterday.
Param Veera Chakra unit has been shooting in Ramoji Film City and had to be called off yesterday due to Telangana Bandh called by Telangana Students. With yesterday being the written test for Group 1 (APPSC) exams, Telangana Students have staged protests and dharnas in several Telangana aeas.

'Brindavanam' breaks 'Magadheera'!!!

Looking at the title, Fans could easily think about one thing and that is record breakings. In one sense, it is of course right. After ‘Magadheera’ and SS Rajamouli broke the record of highest footage of negative that has been exposed in making this grand film; there was even talk that director Rajamouli and editor Kotagiri thought of releasing a second version of ‘Magadheera.’ Of course Rajamouli faced enough of the hell in controlling all the departments with just a single version and then shelved the idea of second.

A R Rahaman Creates Record with Common Wealth Song.

Creating records is not a new thing for A R Rahman. He did it once again on Saturday when the theme song composed by him for the Common Wealth Games was released at a glittering ceremony in New Delhi.




If one has to go by reports, within two hours of the song's release, it was downloaded more than 7,000 times. As Rahman croons 'Khelo, jeeyo, hey-o, let's go…', the rousing chorus takes the song forward, thereby giving an emotional appeal.

On Saturday, the Oscar-Grammy winner sung the song for around five minutes in front of a gathering which included Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, her Haryana counterpart Bhupinder Singh Hooda and CWG Organising Committee Chairman Suresh Kalmadi.

"I feel honoured to get the opportunity to compose the theme song for the mega-event. It was not an easy task. I had started composing it six months ago and finished just last night," the Mozart of Madras said.

A beaming Kalmadi hailed the launch of the theme song as a good beginning to the hosting of successful Games. "A well beginning is the half job done. Now onwards you will listen this song day in and day out," he said.

Mahesh taking all the pains for 'Khaleja'

It would be every ones fear to loose the image and following that is achieved with all the hard work done from years. Prince mahesh babu seems to be in the same situation. No songs in Nag’s ‘Gaganam’!

Nagarjuna who is busy in wrapping up the shooting of his forthcoming bilingual film titled ‘Payanam’ in Tamil and ‘Gaganam’ in Telugu has reached its final leg of shooting. The final schedule is being shot currently in Chennai. It has finished its entire talkie portion and will also complete the shooting of whole film by the end of this week and then will move into post production works.

Earlier it was said that Nagarjuna is playing a distinct role that has never been played by him ever before. Nag, who is considered as romantic hero, doesn’t even have a heroine beside him in the film. He will be playing the role of a commando in the film and so Nag has undergone a crash course in training to portray this character. Prakash Raj and Brahmanandam will be playing other important roles. This bilingual film is being produced by Prakash Raj in Tamil version and Dil Raju in Telugu version.

Adding more surprise to the above one, it is heard that there will be no songs in this film and decision of having at least background score in the film will be finalized only after completing the dubbing and other sound effects. It is also heard that Nagarjuna himself is dubbing for Tamil version also.

Jagapathi’s ‘Gaayam 2’ audio launched!

The audio of Jagapathi Babu, Vimala Raman starrer ‘Gaayam 2’ was launched at TV 9 Studio at Hyderabad on 27th August. Ravi Prakash, CEO of TV9 has released the audio in the presence of Jagapathi Babu, Vimala Raman and Praveen Sri.

The movie is a sequel to RGV’s block-buster hit action film, Gaayam. It is being presented by Ram Gopal Varma, and is being directed by Praveen Sri and is being produced by Dr.Dharmakartha under the banner, ‘Kartha Creations’. The film has music by Ilayaraja who had scored for its prequel too. Lyrics are penned by Bhaskar Bhatla, Anantha Sriram, Vanamali and Kaluva Krishna Sai. Megastar harassed by an unknown person.

Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan says an unknown person has been sending derogatory and abusive material on his blog and mobile phone. After enduring it for months, he has filed a police complaint.

'There is a serious effort by a member that writes and comments on this blog to use language and expression that is abusive, filthy and utterly disgusting,' Big B wrote on his bigb.bigadda.com.

'I have brought this to the notice of the authorities and (sought) corrective measures to see none of the stuff that comes from this foul mouthed individual shall ever be allowed on this platform. Any further attempt from this person shall now be under legal cyber space action, now very prominently activated in the country.

Rajasekhar under Shekhar Suri’s direction!

Well known director Shekhar Suri who made a suspense thrillers like ‘A Film by Aravind’ and ‘Three’ earlier, is gearing up to direct famous hero Rajasekhar for a new film which is yet to be titled.

According to reliable sources, the film is said to be a bilingual film which is to be made both in Telugu and Tamil. It is going to be produced by Natti Kumar under the banner of Visakha Talkies. Vijay Kurrakala will be composing the music while Ramesh Krishna takes charge of cinematography.

Producer said, “It is going to be an action-oriented flick which will be made in both Telugu and Tamil. We will picturise the film in Bangkok for 20 days. We will soon announce the cast and technicians.”

"Raktha Charithra" is the sensational movie being produced and directed by equally sensational producer, director Ramgopal Varma. RGV is trying to bring a real life story on to the screen. The flick is based on real life story of Paritala Ravi and Maddelacheruvu Suri. Kajal - Prakash Raj in Depression.

You might be wondering on what connection does these two people have. Well yesterday Kajal Agarwal's high budgeted film with Karthi (Surya's brother) and another film (Inidhu Inidhu) produced by Prakash Raj were released yesterday.
Incidentally both these films got very negative talk and both Kajal and Prakash were depressed because of that.
It fact this is a big blow for Kajal Agarwal. All her previous films in Tamil bombed at the box-office and she was hoping that this film becomes a hit.
However the film has been declared as a flop and some comments are being heard that she is an 'Iron-leg' for the Tamil film industry.

Genelia D’Souza has taken up horse riding as she is required to do that for her new role in Santosh Sivan’s film period film Urmi. Genelia had been a state level athlete and national level football player in her school and college days.
The film Urmi is based in the 15th century and Genelia plays a Portuguese Princess and it will be a bilingual made in Tamil and Malayalam . Prithviraj is playing the male lead. The film is the story of a boy who wants to kill Vasco Da Gama, the first sailor to explore India.
Genelia is also said to be exploring new assignments in Bollywood and Tollywood. She is concentrating on her career and she is scouting for meaty roles that give her recognition.

3 Idiots remake budgets to touch 90 crore?

There are people in the South Indian film circuit who say that if money has to be spent for a film, no other director is as good as Shankar. Such is the popularity of Shankar that producers have spent around Rs. 60 crore for Sivaji’ and about Rs. 190 crore for ‘Robo’. Both of these films being Rajnikanth’s films, the returns take care of themselves. However we hear that Shankar is going to spend some huge money again. This time there won’t be Rajnikanth. Presently Shanker is planning the remake of ‘3 – Idiots’ in both Tamil and Telugu. It is expectedt that the producers are expecting the film budget would touch around 90-92 crore.

The rights of the Hindi Original for Telugu and Tamil seemed to have cost a bomb to producers of the film Gemini Films. However, with stars like Mahesh Babu in Telugu and Vijay in Tamil, it is expected that Shankar knows what he is up to.

The shooting for the 3-Idiots remake expected to start in December.

Prabhas has no dates for Rajamouli...!

When entire Tollywood is waiting for the declaration of the project in the combo of rajamouli and rebel  star Prabhas, here is the information from rajamouli that he is still waiting for the dates of Prabhas.

After the super hit ‘Maryada Ramanna,’ many though that rajamouli has targeted on completion of triple hat trick and that too with a commercial block buster with Prabhas. Listen what rajamouli tweets about this, ‘Forget the triple hat trick part. I would love to do Prabhas film first but his dates are not available until April 2011.’

Well, what will rajamouli do for next 8 months until he get the dates of Prabhas. As per rajamouli, ‘Eega’ is presently not the feasible project. That’s paradoxical, most successful director like rajamouli has to now wait for the dates of available heroes. So, ‘Chatrapathi’ combination is not possible in this year.

Producer Naga Babu is maintaining everything confidential about his big budgeted flick ‘orange’ with Ramcharan and Genelia. As this is the movie is follow up after the super success of ‘Magadheera’ for Cherry, Naga Babu and director Bommarillu Bhaskar are not leaving any stone unturned to make it a BO hit.

As per our sources, dubbing for ‘orange’ will start from tomorrow. On the other side, shooting will be carried simultaneously with a big schedule planned overseas for songs picturization from August 24 to September 16. With Charan sporting a brand new look, there is every chance that ‘orange’ will reach the range of ‘Magadheera.’

'Komaram Puli' becomes 'Sanjeevani'

From last two weeks, many of the small and medium budgeted movies checking their fate at Box Office are coming out with swollen faces. Not even averages have been delivered but it could have been further more disastrous for all these producers, if these movies have further mugged up in boxes.

The best reason as per Tolly sources, why these movies are coming out like a flood is the postponement of ‘Komaram puli.’ As said earlier, many of these producers decided not to send their movies in competence with ‘puli’ because minimum openings expected can also be washed away.

For all such kind of movies released in last two weeks, ‘puli’ postponement has worked as Sanjeevani. Among all these releases, majority already declared as duds but it is a matter of concern that few are recovering their partial amounts balancing their heavy losses. As they say, something is always better than nothing.

Rajnikant’s latest movie Robo will be released worldwide with highest prints on 23 September. The music of this movie was released in Kuala Lumpur, Hyderabad and Mumbai in different languages at different points of time. Rajnikant is doing three roles in this movie. Shankar directs it and Sun Pictures is the producer.

Charmi injured on the sets of 'Mangala'

Chubby babe charmi who is well planning her career after ‘Sye Aata’ has got injured on the sets of ‘Mangala’ today. Sources say that, not a serious injury but she was in too much of pain in her leg and immediately charmi is rushed to near by hospital for first aid.

This incident occurred during the picturization of climax scenes for the movie. After ‘Mantra,’ charmi has took a great deviation from her career and the same director Osho Tulasiram is bringing this product of ‘Mangala,’ the suspense thriller while Chandana Ramesh is producing the film.
