Kamalini: 'Learning kick-boxing'

Acting is a vital part of Kamalinee Mukherjee’s existence. That explains why she spends eight months in a year to shooting for films and devotes the rest of the year to “reading, cooking and other activities”. And, that’s not all... the lass has a new muse. “Right now, I am busy learning kick-boxing,” she reveals. The Bengali girl, who has starred in a couple of Tamil films including Vettaiyadu Vilaiyadu, did find it difficult to master the south Indian languages initially. “It was difficult. Especially, because I try to understand the nuances of the languages. But these are occupational hazards of a multi-lingual actress,” she adds. However, she isn’t too much into pubbing or clubbing. “I’d rather meet friends in a restaurant,” she explains. But nothing gives her greater joy than spending time with her family and of course, romancing the camera. Not necessarily in that order though!
