Allu Arjun not happy with “Arya 2”

Stylish star Allu Arjun has many action blockbusters to his credit and each time he has been trying for something different. Meanwhile, he is giving finishing touches for his other venture “Arya 2” which is a sequel.

However sources indicate that the star was not happy with the title of the flick. He is looking out for an alternative title for this flick directed by Sukumar.

The movie also stars Kajal Agarwal, Navdeep and Shraddha Arya in the lead.

The movie is expected to release in the month of August but the new title of the movie is yet to be finalized. Also, many say that this will not be a continuation of the original story but just another episode.

Finally, it has happened, the audio album release of the film ‘Magadheera’ happened amidst huge fan presence. The music for this has been composed by M M Keeravani and the event had all biggies with the likes of Srinu Vaitla, Nagababu, VV Vinayak, Chinni Krishna, Murugadoss, Srikanth, Ravi Teja, Ali, Sunil, Venu Madhav, Meher Ramesh, Dil Raju, Surender Reddy, Bhaskar, Allu Arjun, Allu Aravind, Srihari, Pawan Kalyan and others.

The event was anchored by Suma and almost all of them spoke briefly giving their best wishes to director S S Rajamouli and team.

There were also entertainment programs with Siva Reddy stealing the limelight.

Finally, it was megastar Chiranjeevi who unveiled the album and as usual he took his own time in sharing his feelings without any hassles. He recalled how he was missing the film industry and how he is a proud father today looking at Charan’s improvement and growth as an actor.

Interestingly, many like Paruchuri, V V Vinayak, Rajamouli etc have strongly urged Chiru to get back to films once again and responding to that, Chiru was in his usual neutral mode which got the fans more curious.

The highlight of the film is said to be the horse chasing sequence and also the remix song ‘Bangaru Kodi Petta…’ which also has Chiru shaking his leg for a scene.

Trisha, who got launched through Priyadarshan in his ‘Leysa Leysa’, has acted with the biggest heroes in South India, including Vijay, Ajith, Mahesh Babu and Vekatesh. And now, she has set her eyes on Bollywood.

An actress with a figure to vie for, Trisha says she is confident of finding a place for herself in Hindi cinema, where size zero and glamour rule. And she does not consider herself a competitor to Asin, who is the next-big-thing in Bollywood, after charming the people with her role of Kalpana in ‘Ghajini’.

“I have agreed to roles that have a mix of both glamour and performance,” clarifies Trisha, who has just completed work for Silambarasan’s ‘Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya’. Following this, she is working with Dhanush in Vetrimaran’s ‘Aadukalam’.

Sources reveal that she recently rejected an offer from a university in New Jersey to be a guest lecturer on Indian films. A source reveals, "Tabu was made the offer a few weeks back. She was invited as a part of the university's curriculum on filmmaking. Tabu contemplated for a few days and even spoke to a few friends. However, she decided not to be part of the plan." The reason for Tabu rejecting the offer is supposed to be the fact that she isn't really good with speaking at public events. "She developed cold feet thinking what kind of questions the students would ask her. Since she's a private person and mostly an introvert, Tabu politely declined the offer." Jr NTR New film with meher ramesh again

Jr. NTR will commence shooting for Adurs from next week. He is also reported to have given the go ahead to director Mehar Ramesh to make another film with him. Jr. NTR acted in Ramesh’s film Kantri Mehar Ramesh then went on to direct Prabhas in Billa Ramesh prepared a script keeping Jr. NTR in mind. He narrated it to NTR and he liked it. The two of them will come together once again for another film.

Ashwini Dutt will produce the film. It was he who produced Kantri so the same team is now coming together for another film. The film will roll out later this year.

Nasik Police files case against Aishwarya

The Nasik police have registered a case against Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai. The police case was field in connection with the transfer of land by Aishwarya Rai to a company Suzlon. Aishwarya purchased the land and then transferred the same to the company in violation of the rules.

The police acted based on a complaint made by Anand Lala Thakre of Dandhane village in Nasik district. The police also field a case against the company chairman Tulasi Bhai.

The land has been acquired by the company for setting up a wind based power plant. Aishwarya Rai is a partner in the firm.

Ram charan and Genelia D Souza New film

Ram Charan Magadheera Movie Coming with more than 1000 prints.

Mega Power stars Ram Charan Teja's second movie Magadheera final release date is fixed as 22nd July 2009. The music composed by MM Keeravani will be launched at a function organized in Shilpa Kala Vedika on the night of 28 June.

Kajal Agarwal plays female lead. Srihari did a vital role. Senthil Kumar (Arundhati fame) handled camera. Allu Arvind produces it on Geeta Arts banner. This film will released with more than 1000 prints worldwide on 22 July.

Nagarjuna To Begin His Next Movie

Nagarjuna has put rumours to rest, that his film will not be releasing this year. On July 24th his next film with D. Shiva Prasad Reddy as the producer will start rolling. Nagarjuna had delivered a string of hits like Vikki Dada, Allari Alludu, Seetarama Raju, Nenunnanu, and much recently King from their banner.

The film will be released in December, the month that Nagarjuna has an attachment to. Kiran Kumar makes his debut as a director. So King will get busy from next month onwards. At the moment selection of the technical team is on.

Chennai: Following the footsteps of Tamil actor Ajit, southern actress Shriya Saran too has decided not to endorse any soft drink brands.

“I did a soft drink ad some time back. Later, a mother came to me and said that her child started consuming more of that drink after seeing my ad. It made me measure my actions,” said Shriya, who teamed up with Tamil superstar Rajnikant in Sivaji: The Boss.

A soft drink ad fetches the actresses Rs.5-6 million and one just has to shoot for four-five days for the commercial, while for a movie one has to slog for months and the remuneration is not as good.

Apart from Tamil films, Shriya also featured in Hindi movies Awarapan and Mission Istaanbul.

Shamili is well known as the Anjali girl. Shamili shot to fame as a child artist as Anjali with the Mani Ratnam film. She acted in several films as a child artist. Shamili has now grown up into a beautiful girl. She is now acting in the film ‘Oy!’ Siddhartha is the hero.

The director of the film Anand Ranga is taking care not to release the photos of Shamili to the press. So far no photos have been leaked. This is adding suspense to the film.

The film will hit the screens on June 3. All those who are eager to catch a glimpse of Shamili, the heroine, will have to wait till June

In addition to it she is also asking the producers and directors to introduce her younger sister in their films. Recently, veteran Director Puri Jagannath has been victimized by her.

She asked him to introduce her sister in his new film for which he approached her. Though, he didn’t give any firm assurance, he is obliged to screen test her sister for his next film.
