Story:

Surya played by Mahesh babu is a young guy who comes to Mumbai to become a don. At a time when Mumbai police announces that there are no Bhai’s in Mumbai and everyone can run business, Surya (Mahesh Babu) lands in the country’s commercial capital with an intention to become a don.

He slowly gains momentum and in the process also traps Chitra (Kajal) who is police commissioner’s (Nazer) daughter. Surya then locks horns with big shots and his juggernaut continues to the point where the plot will be unveiled as to why did Mahesh Babu came to Mumbai with such an intention.

Analysis:

Director puri jagannadh made the whole movie with stunning dialogues which made the viewers glue to the screens and connect to them.First half of the movie is how he builds the mafia businessBusinessman is a perfect mass masala extravaganza which satisfies the undemanding viewers. Mahesh Babu has strong screen presence that works to the advantage of the film.

Puri Jagannath is raw, creative and daringly different like he usually is.When such a dynamic director gets the authentic acting support from his superstar, you can expect fireworks on the screen and that’s what happens in Businessman.There are no comedians as such specially designed to tickle you,

Puri jagannadh shown his strength as dialogue writer and performed superbly by Mahesh babu.He made the dialogues to connect to audience and current events.Music by Thaman is another highlight of the film.His RR work is an asset to the film.3 songs are ChartbustersThere is a little flashback to him in his childhood, which has nothing to do with his goal though. Even the romantic thread doesn’t have the soul.

Businessman is typical Puri film with loads of rowdies and cops scattered all over the screen.All the songs have been picturized well but 'Sir Osthara' song and 'Chandamama' stand out for their sheer beauty. The much talked about kiss with Kajal has been shot very beautifully and aesthetically. Shwetha Bharadwaj has sizzled in the item number. She has a bright future in the industry. Nazar, Prakash Raj and Shayaji Shinde are ok.

Artists Performances:

Mahesh Babu is the lifeline for this film. He excelled as Surya Bhai from the start to end. Watch out for his fire filled eyes and also his naughty one liners that he exchanges with Kajal. His fans will adore him as Surya Bhai.

Kajal is just okay. Despite having many scenes in the film, her character is poorly etched and therefore she failed to make an impression. Nazar is neat. Brahmaji is fine.

Shiyaji Shinde as politician and Prakash Raj as goon are good in their usual tailor made characters. Shwetha Bhardwaj is a good replacement to Mumaith khan in Bad boyz song.

Technical Departments :

Thaman’s music is well done. Especially the background music, when Surya turns into a Big Mafia. And the Picturization of the songs are also very nice. Syam K Naidu’s cinematography is terrific. He played with frames and added dashing colors so as to make the film rich and delightful. Lighting is again an asset.

Puri is a master in screenplay. The movie is in the right pace. Eventhough the story is obvious, Screenplay is distinct and great in parts. Direction goes the Puri’s style and dialogues are perfect and a rage.

Final Analysis:

A typical Puri Jagannath movie which lacks pace in the second half and finally its all about Mahesh Babu movie. Go and watch it in a theatre near you with nice projection and good sound system.Youth will get connected to the movie.with the strength of the season it’s another good commercial hit.

Go and have fun with your friends this weekend. You will enjoy this flick.

Prince Mahesh Babu Krish film begins in 2012

Super Star Mahesh is turning super busy star these days with a bunch of films in the pipeline. Mahesh is shooting at a neck break speed for his forthcoming film The Businessman after which he will immediately jump onto the sets of Srikanth Addala, Dil Raju’s film Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu that also features Venkatesh in the lead.

While he also has Sukumar’s directorial in the pipeline where he will be seen as a lecturer, Mahesh has recently given his nod to director Krish for which the script work is currently in progress and the film will commence the regular shoot in 2012. In the meantime, Krish will complete his new directorial Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum with Rana Daggubati in the lead.

Pawan Kalyan’s Panjaa teaser for Diwali

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s Panjaa teaser will be unveiled on 26th October for Diwali while the makers have planned to release the theatrical trailer at the audio launch in the month of November. Panjaa will be released on a grand scale in December.

The makers also informed that Panjaa’s merchandise such as T-shirts, Caps, Tattoo’s et al will be available from Diwali day. The producers of the film Neelima Tirumalashetty and Shobu Yarlagadda are leaving no stone unturned in publicizing the film to full extent. Ganga- The Bodyguard is the remake of Malayalam super hit film Bodygurd which was also remade in Hindi and Tamil versions. Speaking about the film, he informed that he accepted Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu as it has a good script that will appeal all genres of audiences and not just because it is a multi-starrer film. He also informed that he shares a good rapport with Venkatesh and he is happy to be part of the film. Sources are at buzz that Trisha and Samantha would play the leading lady roles in Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu.

Young Rebel Star Prabhas starrer Rebel is currently being shot in Hyderabad. Few action scenes are being canned in the present schedule of the film. Rebel touted as mass action entertainer is being directed by Raghava Lawrence.

Rajamouli’s experimental film Eega is progressing at a rapid pace in Hyderabad. The film is expected to be ready for 2012 summer release. Though the shoot has started off much earlier, Eega is delayed due to the loads of visual effects in the film. Rajamouli is taking additional care on the every aspect especially on the splendid graphics work.

The latest we hear is Victory Venkatesh is said to be giving voiceover for the film. The basic plot revolves around the graphically created Housefly and its revenge on the baddie in rebirth. Nani, Samantha and Sudeep are essaying the lead roles in the film. The filmmakers are in hopes that Venky’s voiceover will add star attraction for Eega.

Eega being presented by Suresh Babu will see a multilingual release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Kannada.

Mani Sharma’s son to debut as hero

Suriya turns Prince with 7th Sense

Ever since the First Look pictures, trailer and the audio of Suriya’s 7^th Sense were unveiled, the expectations on the film reached sky-high. Now, here is another interesting update of the film.

Apart from the Buddhist monk and circus artiste roles in the film, Suriya is essaying the role of a Prince. Suriya’s Bodhidharma character is said to be originally a Prince role who was third son to the Pallava King in the dynasty. Pallavas ruled India in the sixth century. This Prince character will later be transformed as Buddhist monk, who leaves to china.

“Though Bodhidharma is a real life character, director Murugadoss added fiction to the role and shot the film. Being born as a Tamilian, he is worshipped in major parts of China also having his statue in the Shaolin temple,” informs sources.

7^th Sense switches between ancient and modern era as the story progresses. Suriya’s ladylove in the movie Shruti Haasan is essaying a scientist role. Abhinaya of 'Nadodigal' fame has also paired alongside Suriya for another avatar.

Ravi Teja starrer Nippu in the direction of Gunasekhar is progressing at a rapid pace in Hyderabad. Recently, a schedule has been wrapped up in Pollachi. YVS Chowdary is producing the film on Bommarillu Vari banner.
