It is known news that Venky is all set to begin the next venture 'Krishnamvande Jagadgurum' to be directed by Krish and the official date for the formal launch of the movie happens to be December 13th, Venky's birthday. Venkatesth 'Krishnam Vande Jagathgurum' films from January

Radha Krishna (Krish) who proved his talent with his first venture 'Gamyam', is going to follow the success line with 'Krishnam Vande Jagathgurum' casting Victory Venkatesh.

The film will go to the floors from 13th Dec, on the occasion of Venkatesh’s birthday. Later, the regular shooting will commence from January. Presently, the script work on the end sequences is being done. A combination of both philosophy and action forms the movie’s theme. And it will be made in a different style compared to Venky’s previous flicks, said director Krish while speaking to Indiaglitz.com

Director Krish has made the script in a fresh backdrop and has planned to present Venkatesh in a complete new look.

NagChaithanya’s film goes to Agra and Vizag

Grandson of Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Son of Nagarjuna, NagChaithanya is debuting as a hero with a high budget movie, to be produced by 'Dil' Raju on Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. Vasu Varma will debut as a director with this film.

The movie was launched on 22nd Sep'08 on the birthday of ANR. The regular shooting is progressing now at Hyderabad. The upcoming schedules are being planned at Agra and Vizag.

The crew has plans to shoot for 45 days in Agra, and in Vizag it will be canned for 20 days. During filming in Vizag, a special private security has been arranged to avoid any disturbances by fans. It is yet to be confirmed that which of these schedules will be done first.

Swetha Prasad of 'Kotha Bangaru Lokam' fame and 'Aavakai Biryani's Bindu Madhavi are the girls being considered to play the heroine. Another new girl is also in this tentative list. The female lead will be selected shortly. The title 'Jhosh' is the tentative name for the movie.

Pawan Kalyan's Puli' shoots in Malaysia

The successful combination of 'Khushi', Pawan Kalyan and SJ Surya are again pairing up for 'Puli'. Nikasha is making her debut as heroine through the flick, which is being produced by Singanamala Ramesh.

Pawan Kalyan is portraying the role of a powerful police officer. The film will have all kinds of elements that were expected by the Mega fans. The film would also discuss thecurrent circumstances in the society. Presently the shooting of the film is presently in progress at Malaysia. AR Rahman is scoring tunes for the movie. Puri Jagannath’s ‘Neninthe’ starring Ravi Teja and Shiya is being produced by DVV Danayya on Universal Media banner. The talkies portion was carried out in the places of Hyderabad and has been completed. The crew went to Bangkok a few days back for filming the last song that was pending.

The anti-government protesters siege of Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Thai capital on Wednesday made a huge impact. Many travelers were stranded after the authorities shut down the airport and cancelled flights. Indian and foreign airlines have cancelled daily flights that operate between the countries.

Mahesh Babu's Varudu Set Problems

It's a known fact that Mahesh Babu and Trivikram are pairing together for their next film tentatively titled Varudu. Apparently a huge set is required for the shooting of this film.

The set had been planned in the Ramoji film studio and the work for which is in progress. The story up to this point is great. But the trouble has started as the set being erected does not seem to be to the satisfaction of director Trivikram.

More than a hundred workers are working in erecting this set. In the last one month the changes suggested to this have been large that the set is not seeing its completion date for the shooting to start.Mahesh and Trivikram are involved in lengthy discussions for almost a month now to make the set more attractive. The film would start shooting once the set problems are solved.

Has Bipasha Basu walked out of Lamhaa

Producer Bunty Walia and director Rahul Dholakia are making a film titled Lamhaa with Sanjay Dutt and Bipasha Basu. As per the demand of the script, a 10 day shoot has to be undertaken in Ananthanag in Jammu and Kashmir to get the winter snow backdrop.

After shooting for two days, Bipasha suddenly left the location and flew back to Mumbai. The producer and director have absolutely no clue as to why she left the shooting spot. She also did not spell out the reasons for sudden exit.

Bunty Walia and Rahul Dholakia are said to seriously thinking of replacing Bipasha Basu with Vidya Balan in the film.

Koncham Ishtam Koncham Kashtam for Sankranthi

After Nuvvosthanante Nenoddantana and Bommarillu, Prakash Raj and Siddharth play the roles of Father and son for the third time in Koncham Ishtam Koncham Kashtam.

This film is being produced by Nallamalupu Srinivas (Bujji) under the banner of Lakshmi Narasimha Productions. Kishore Pardhasasi is making his debut as director with this film.

Tamanna plays the female lead and Ramyakrishna acts as mother of Siddharth. The cast also includes Nazar, Brahmanandam, Venumadhav, Sudha, Hema, Karuna, Samrat, Ravali and others.

Bollywood rock-on musicians Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy have composed 8 songs for this film. Lyrics have been written by Chandrabose and Sitarama Sastry.

Komuram Puli producer to make 5 big films

Singanamala Ramesh is a well known film financier in South India. He is now producing Komaram Puli with Pawan Kalyan and Parvathi Melton and directed by SJ Surya.

Ramesh is also producing Mahash Babu starrer being directed by Trivikram Srinivas. This film starts shooting from next month in Rajasthan, Tanzania and South Afrika.

According to Filmnagar reports, Ramesh is said to have signed on NTR Jr and Prabhas. The films with these heroes start after they finish their present assignments.

There are also reports that Singanamala Ramesh may make films with Ram Charan Tej and Nag Chaitanya.

Nenithe film unit stranded at Bangkok

Director Puri Jagannath who is making Neninthe with Ravi Teja and Siya, has gone to Thailand along with the film unit to can a song for the film.
Suddenly political unrest started in Thailand and anti-government protesters barged into the Bangkok international airport and had been refusing to leave the premises. This has caused cancellation of all international flights.

Because of disruption in air traffic, the film unit members of Neninthe including Puri, Ravi Teja, Siya, produced DVV Danaiah have been left stranded at the airport.

Meanwhile, Thai anti-government protesters have rejected a proposal to conduct fresh elections and have refused to disperse. This was after the country’s powerful Army Chief General Anupong Paojinda stepped in to end the siege of Bangkok’s main airport on Wednesday.

Blue is a Rs 130 Cr Bollywood film

Debutant director Anthony D’Souza’s film Blue, an underwater action thriller Blue, is one of the most expensive Hindi films costing around Rs 130 Crores. The director says he is inspired by the 1970s Hollywood film The Deep. The film stars Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Zayed Khan, Lara Dutta and Katrina Kaif.

Blue is about a lost treasure, which three friends try to find. It is related to the obstacles that they face in the process and the deceit and betrayal among themselves and others.

Sanjay and Akshay play fishermen based in the Bahamas while Zayed is a flamboyant investor who joins them in a treasure hunt. Lara plays Sanjay’s wife and Katrina’s character has grey shades to it.

Asin's Frustration Relieved

Asin was roped in to do the role opposite Amir Khan in the Hindi version of Ghazini. Now this was about one and half years ago. Asin has been restricted by Amir Khan and the rest of the production team of Ghazini to meet the press and expose herself.

In the hope that the film would be completed in a years time Asin had agreed to this condition. But even after one and half years when she did not get the chance to meet the press and other producers and sign on new films frustration started to build in her. She had openly expressed these feelings. Little known actresses had started filling the void created by Asin's absence.

Despite this Herculean effort one cannot say with confidence that he is the number one hero in the Tamil films. He sure has proved himself to be a very capable actor.

Vikram with his roles in the Tamil versions of Aparichitudu and Siva Putrudu sure has proved that he is more capable of giving a hit with an out of the box film. Surya lacks in this direction. Had Surya S/O Krishnan been a hit he sure could have laid his hands on the number one position. The struggle for Surya continues till he manages to give a south Indian hit with an out of the box film. However. Film Fare is expected for Suriya for 'Surya S/o Krishnan'.

Charmi in Frames Entertainments’ film

The muhurt of Frames Entertainments’ film was conducted on Monday at Hyderabad. The first shot was picturised on Charmi and Kota Srinivasa Rao.

The clap was sounded by veteran director Sagar and the camera was switched on by former minister Santosh Reddy. Film Producers Council president Thammareddy Bharadwaja directed the muhurt shot.

This yet to be titled film is being produced by N Rajasekhar, who made Yamagola Malli Modalayyindi, and directed by KRK Pawan who earlier won a Nandi Award for the film Sattha.

This is a woman oriented film and Charmi will be seen in an author-backed role. The star cast includes Ajay, Brahmanandam, Sivaprasad, Ali, MS Narayana, Prabhakar, Omkar, Suman Shetty, Rao Ramesh and others.

This time, his admiration was all towards the petite beauty Trisha who happens to be the leading lady for the film 'King' starring Nagarjuna.

Sharing his thoughts with the public, ANR said that he has watched the movies of Trisha and really loves them. Later on, he educated that the first dancing hero of the Telugu industry was himself and then he threw his trump card by saying that if Trisha is ready, then he is equally ready to shake a leg or two with her.

Tamil director to direct Ram next movie

Tamil director and script writer Sarvanan is going to direct hero Ram next movie. When Sarvanan narrated the script to producer Sravanthi Ravi Kishore, the latter immediately liked it and decided to start the shooting of this movie from January 2009. Sarvanan earlier provided the script to Gopichand Ontari film.

Actually Ram was to do a film under the direction of Yogesh of Chintakayala Ravi fame which was to be produced by Sravanthi Ravi Kishore. This movie is temporarily put on hold and Sarvanan movie is going to start.

According to our reporter Bannu, Ram is also going to act in a movie which is going to be directed by Srivaas and produced by Dil Raju. Srivaas earlier directed Gopichand Lakshyam.

Sasirekha Parinayam distribution rights bought by Sri Tirumala Tirupathi Venkateswara Films

Chadalavada Srinivas Rao who is the owner of Sri Tirumala Tirupathi Venkateswara Films distribution company has bought the entire Andhra Pradesh distribution rights of Krishna Vamsi directorial venture Sasirekha Parinayam. Tarun and Genilia are playing the lead roles in this film.

Sasirekha Parinayam will be released all over Andhra Pradesh either in the last week of December or in the first week of January. The above mentioned distribution company has recently distributed Ravi Teja Baladoor and Sekhar Kammula Avakai Biryani.

While Sasirekha Parinayam has Tarun and Genelia in the lead, Krishna Vamsi directing it and Sunkara Madhu Murali is producing it. The shooting of this film is right now going on.

Srinu Vytla to direct Prabhas

The audio release function of Yuvasamrat Akkineni Nagarjuna King was held with great pomp and show at Gachibowli stadium, yesterday evening. Naga Chaitanya was later introduced to the audience through this program.

D Ramanaidu released the audio cassette and handed over the first copy to Venkatesh. Venkatesh unveiled the audio cd and handed the first copy to Nagarjuna. The entire Akkineni family and Ramanaidu family were present along with many other film celebrities. Devi Sri Prasad, Sreenu Vytla, Mamtha Mohan Das and Trisha were among the others who attended the function.

Speaking on the ocassion, Nagarjuna requested his fans not to cal him Yuvasamrat any more and also asked them to give Yuvasmrat all the necessary support. He also said that King is a total family entertainer which is going to race in the next election voting race. He also danced for the title song of King.

ANR spoke to the audience and said that it is his fourth generation kid who is entering into films. He also requested all Akkineni family fans to support Naga Chaitanya in all times of happiness and sadness. He also spoke about the studies and child hood of Naga Chaitanya.

Seaking to the crowd, Venkatesh wished his nephew all the best and hoped that Naga Chaitanya would do different and variety roles in future.

Naga Chaitanya also spoke to the gathering and said that he has been waiting for this role exactly. Others who spoke on the occassion praised Nagarjuna and blessed Naga Chaitanya.

The entire function was anchored by Suma. Cake cuting was done by Naga Chaitanya and his birthday was celebrated on the tage itself. The function ended on a happy note.

AR Rehman music for Mahesh - Gowtham film

AR Reham who was away from telugu film industry is again becoming busy in Tollywood. He is right now composing music for Pavan Kalyan Komaram Puli.

Hindu groups halted screening of ‘Vinayakudu’

Activists of right-wing Hindu groups Saturday threw stones at a film theatre here to protest screening of Telugu film ‘Vinayakudu’, alleging its title had hurt the community’s religious sentiments.Activists of Bajrang Dal and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) resorted to violence at the Rajdhani theatre in Dilsukhnagar area in the city, where the film was being screened.

Police later took dozens of protesters in custody.

Protests were also held outside a few other theatres in the city screening the film, released Saturday.

Claiming that titling a film, based on a love story, ‘Vinayakudu’, was insulting to the Hindu deity Ganesha, also known as Vinayak, the groups also lodged a complaint with the police.

However, the film’s director, A. Sai Kiran, clarified that he named the film ‘Vinayakudu’ as the hero was a good and lovable character. “I felt the title apt for the movie and did not intend to hurt anybody’s sentiments,” he said.
